The Cotswolds is absolutely stunning... Lower Slaughter is such a beautiful place...so tranquil and characterful. The walk up Copsehill Road is beautiful and worth a stroll (next to the hotel) The Slaughters Country Inn was also beautiful. Very rustic charm with the exposed beams and low ceilings! It was great to have a pint in the bar in front of...

Very nice place with pleasant staff and well situated for visiting the Cotswold's villages. Would use The Hotel again in the future should we be visiting the Cotswold area. In the end it was good value for the money paid.

Lovely country Inn with nicely appointed rooms. Staff are very efficient & friendly especially in the bar and the location is stunning. The only downside is the bar area itself, it lacks ambiance, long & narrow with a large open fire at each end & nothing much in between, just needs a little thought on seating & perhaps making the...

Stayed here on 5/3/2017 for 1 night b&b and evening meal. Price was reasonable and the meals lovely and well presented. The Dining Room is modern and you can take meals in the bar. The Dining Room could however do with some soft furnishings (curtains) as it is a bit stark. The guests lounge is lovely. The furnishings in the...

Hotel is in a really nice location - very friendly staff / perfect place to have a beer next to the fire. I went with my partner and parents, we got 2 superior rooms - however were 'double upgraded' on 1 of the rooms to a cottage which we gave to my parents. Superior room 1 (Jourdelays); this room is...

I was expecting a nice hotel, but I did not expect the most charming setting with great food. I immediately felt at home at this hotel. Lower Slaughter is a very picturesque village in the Cotswolds and though I have come to this area several times, I have not visited this town. It will be my home base for this...

The food was fantastic, the rooms were lovely, spacious and clean, and all in a beautiful setting. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Lower Slaughter is also a really charming spot. This hotel was perfect for our 24 hour getaway.
