My husband and I were visiting to celebrate his birthday. We had booked a Deluxe Room which was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was large and the shower incredibly powerful (great). The bed linen was lovely and crisp and the towels nice and thick. We had dinner in the restau

Dear holidaychicLondon Many thanks for taking the time to write to us following your experience. All of our guests feedback is extremely helpful to us and we take all comments most seriously. We were all delighted that you were chosen The Slaughters Manor House but sad we didn’t meet your expectation and noted your comments regarding the food aspect of it. If I may, I would like to thank you for your constructive feedback. We do have on our website a sample menu which is correct. However been in December we only advertise our festive Menu that we serve from 26th November until 23rd December. Please see the link below. https://www.slaughtersmanor.co.uk/dining-drinking/restaurant/festive-dinner-menu One again I would like to thank you for your constructive feedback. Thank you Marcellin

I took my friend here for a cream tea because I love this hotel. It is so smart, clean and also funky. The service is top notch and the food is superb.

I heartily recommend it especially for afternoon tea because they really pull the stops out.

Is it easy to hire a car in Lower Slaughter? We hesitate between calling a taxi (or Uber, if there is one) when needed or to just hire a car for the day.
Hi 187147Rob, We are pretty remote and there isn't any car hire in the village, but if you are able to contact our reception team at the hotel, they will be happy to assist and advise the best option for you: 01451 820 456. Many thanks, Lucy

For a two-nights stay would you recommend having dinner at the hotel? We were considering trying the local pub on one of the nights and are unsure about what to do on the other one. Thanks
The hotel has a great restaurant at its Country Inn across the street. Less stuffy and much cheaper. The Manor House will reserve for you. We ate there one night because the Manor house restaurant was too hot (they wouldn't open windows). We ate on the patio at the Manor House the other night - OK and cool!

Hi I appreciate the the hotel will be great for food but any other places to eat locally in The Slaughters ?? Also any recommdations for places to visit ? Thanks
We went to the fox in eveson which is a great pub, good wholesome pub food, no frills and good landlord and staff - traditional proper pub. Warwick castle, Hidcote gardens, roman villa (nat.trust), stratford, snows hill house, all the villages and loads more! Enjoy!
