My partner surprised me for valentines and we had the most gorgeous room, amazing large marble bathroom. I cant say enough how incredible our stay was, we only stayed for one night but we loved every second of it, I stay in at least 3/4 hotels a year and this is by far the best! The staff were lovely, the...

We stayed at The Slaughters Manor House for one Saturday night for my birthday. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant - this review includes the latter as the restaurant is reviewed alone. Pluses: - Really in the country in a lovely little village near the equally lovely Burford. Lots of nice walks nearby. - The rooms have...

This is a good hotel. Usually a solid 4 and some elements of a 5 but I have rated it a 3 due to the bed - just too soft and we had a very disturbed night. I know some people prefer a soft bed but this is the softest I have ever had in a hotel and resulted in...

Beautiful Manor House, excellent service, helpful & friendly staff. Wonderful cocktails mixed by Robert in the bar. The 'Tasting Menu' in the restaurant on Valentine's Day was a delight. Would recommend highly. (The mattress in our room was too soft though).

Stayed in Moreton twin bedded room which was huge with large bathroom with bath and shower and twin sinks. Coffee machine etc provided plus bottles of water and piece of fruit each. Would prefer biscuits. Dressing gowns in wardrobe with clothes brush, iron and board and hair dryer supplied. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Didn't find Control for hearing so ended...

We have been to a lot of the other boutique hotels in this group and it lived up to expectations. Lovely rooms, location, service and attention to detail. Only complaint when we arrived Saturday we wanted to have tea and cake and they told us because it had been busy with drop ins there was no cake left. They said...

Picture perfect location, beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a suite- we felt so lucky! Everything about the hotel is luxurious, yet relaxed. The staff were so accommodating and the service was at such a high level. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.
