Having been for lunch on one previous occasion (December last year) we decided that it was nice enough to go again and, therefore, booked a table for Sunday carvery lunch today. Firstly you are seated by a friendly and pleasant waitress from whom you order the drinks required; my husband ordered Coke and I had water. We then went to...

Went here with my wife for Sunday Lunch as we live nearby. Must confess the place always looks a bit austere from the outside but inside it was just the opposite. The place had been freshly decorated. The welcome was warm and friendly. The beef was to die for! Vegetarians were catered for too with a nut roast. There was...

The 100% burger for £8.95 was a skinny over cooked dried up nasty thing i could not bring myself to put in my mouth. I was told it's a frozen burger and that normally the chief makes his own. Seems it's grilled then baked to make sure it's cooked through however it was dryer than the surface of the moon....

A comfortable bed A powerful shower Clean and functional Warm and Cosy the pub it is served in is relaxed and friendly. But only open short hours. The pub food was perfect for the cold nights I ate there. Don't expect chocolates on the pillow but who needs them...

We booked over the phone the day before we were due to arrive, but when we tried to ring at 9.30pm to let them know what time we were arriving (we drove from Bristol), there was no answer. When we arrived at 11pm, the lights were all off & no-one to let us in. Other residents kindly helped us, ringing...

As per the email which I apologised to you in I shall do it again. I'm sorry that you arrived and there was no one to check you in. We closed the premises at 11:30 so had you have called or turned up then you would have been successfully checked in. As our website states our check in times are...

Stopped here on the off chance on our way to Duxton War Museum. What a fabulous find. Staff were lovely and friendly. Carvery amazing. I would definitely recommend the Coach House Hotel. Although we didn't use it they also have a playground out the back for the kids.

We held our wedding here on the 3rd September in a marquee and the service and food was amazing. We also stayed in the bridal room which was luxurious and had a huge bath and big walk in shower. The room was exceptional clean and the carvery we had for our wedding meal amazing. Breakfast is brilliant and I would...

My husband and I wanted an overnight stay near a venue we were going to, nothing pricey, so nothing fancy, clean room and good customer service, this is exactly what we got. It was about 15 minute taxi drive into Royston (cost us £10.00 each way). Got the hotel to book it for us. Barnsley's I think it was apparently...

Rooms clean if a little small. Wedding party on till all hours, which happens, but nobody mentioned that would be happening when we booked! Music was insanely loud, 5hrs sleep is all I got! Also only had us booked one night when it was two. Person who checked us in clearly didn't have a clue.

We stayed recently - we were attending a wedding two/three miles down the road. Not the greatest accommodation but ok for a one nighter - small rooms and even smaller bathroom. Breakfast ok. Bit on the pricey side!!
