Voyaging is a perfect platform for education and outreach given the importance it holds for communities around the Pacific. The va’a has the power to reconnect our communities to their past and to honor what our ancestors did in migrating across the Pacific, colonizing these small specks of islands in the middle of the largest ocean in the world.

A great place for all to go, A great mix of family and the traditional publican atmosphere mixed together with great food and service. Went there with my wife and two demanding kids and they were great with helping out with a high chair etc, we didn't get time to thank them in person but our short visit was most...

This is an often over looked place to go by tourists. Lake Brunner is a very beautiful and calm place. There isn't much to do but that's the best thing about it. It is a very close drive to some wonderful hiking and is a great place to stay. The accommodation is related to the pub which serves delicious local...

It was probably me being stupid and not asking the right questions but we specifically decided to travel to Lake Brunner to stay at the Lake Brunner Resort as the pictures of the resort looked so lovely and we wanted a nice night away. My wife and I took the TranzAlpine train from Christchurch and were picked up by the hotel manager at the station in Moana. She was very friendly and helpful, pointing out various services and attractions in the town on the way to the hotel. Checking in was a breeze, and she escorted us to our room to make sure we...

The resort has a real rustic charm. Very cozy. Moana was a nice stop for the night along the west coast. I recommend the resort. I booked for the wrong night and they found us a couple rooms. Friendly atmosphere at the bar.

This is the second time we have visited the resort and have been happy both times. Friendly service, clean and tidy rooms, accommodating to late night check in's as reception in restaurant, value for money, room was even heated before we got there on a cold winters night! Only downside was no plug in the bathroom for those with shavers,...

We booked a two bedroom apartment and were very impressed with the facilities. The ground floor had a large kitchen/dining area and a bedroom with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and huge window overlooking the lake. The top floor had a comfortable lounge, again with views and a balcony, plus a second bedroom with two single beds and another bathroom....
