The rooms were great however they don't have facilities for drying clothes, you're not allowed to hang wet clothes outside and my clothes got kind of smelly because they stayed damp for long. Cold shower though. The room itself was cozy enough, all of them are beach front I think. They have a pool and these neat Bali style huts...

Awesome spot for snorkelers and divers! Notice to all, there is a small charge (environmental fee) to snorkel here. Bring cash. The turtle point has giant turtles and you can spot 4-5 at a time. Beware of micro jellyfish, wear rash guards or wet suits. I was stung head to toes. The fish sanctuary has a ton of fish, reef...

This was my second visit here - my first was washed out by the tail end of a typhoon, so I was keen to finally get to see the reef here. It wasn't disappointed either! A beautiful healthy reef pretty much surrounds the island, with beautiful corals and abundant fish and turtles. Don't expect to see anything big here though...

I stayed here for three days wanting some peace, quiet, and easy access to marine life. I got exactly that. It is the only resort on the island and is perfect for people wanting to snorkel and dive. Seriously, no need to rent a boat if you are staying on island. Just get off your lounge chair and you'll be...

My wife and I have been visiting the island yearly now; between March and July. Overall and always at the end of our vacation, we tell ourselves that we will becoming back. I dive, my wife snorkels and our experiences have been very fun and interesting. BIDR is low-key and there are not a lot of amenities in the resort...

This is the only resort on the island, but the island is small. But not so small that phone signals on the west side, where the resort is located, is extremely weak, while signal is available on the east. Hence there is not mobile signal nor wifi available at the resort! The rooms are comfortable, with air-conditioning, and working toilet-cum-shower...

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed fully the fabulous snorkelling - at 6 hours in the sea everyday! This is the only resort on Balicasag island. Excellent setup and location, right on the beach and the coral gardens are just right in front of the resort. It is quiet and peaceful, literally we owned the whole beach and the sea after...

We wanted to stay at Balicasag for snorkeling - we did not care about room amenities, have no interest in luxury or night life or drinks with umbrellas, etc. All we wanted was a decent bed to sleep in, edible food and great snorkeling. Initially we had a hard time contacting Balicasag for a reservation - I ended up asking...

After a day diving we had to travel a few hours by boat. When then at the horizon Balicasag appears you just hope to arrive at a nice location with a sunset pool, a nice cabin next to the beach and a bar with a cold bear. All available at Balicasag :)
