Jessica the camp manager, and my tour guide George, were incredibly friendly and helped make my stay at Kwara very comfortable. Everything in my tent was fine, but one of my neighboring travelers did have an issue with hot water. Keep in mind this is an older camp, but the amenities are enough for a comfortable stay and the range...

Kwara was the most rustic of the 3 camps we visited in Botswana but provided the biggest range in game. We stayed 2 nights and went on 5 game drives. It was quite an adventure and the guides are amazing. With all the rain the region has had recently, animals can be more difficult to find since food and water...

My wife and I stayed two nights at Kwara. Unfortunately we went in the rainy season and it was very wet. Staff did their best but game drives were not as good as they could be because of the water and mud that the jeeps had to negotiate. All staff and our guide were friendly and very helpful. Some great...

This was the 2nd lodge out of 3 we stayed at, and was by far the best one. We chose this lodge as it was situated by permanent water. The area was beautiful and the animals and birds plentiful. There were so many highlights, hippos trying to attack our motor boat, following a cheetah chasing it's prey, leopard up a...

We stayed 3 nights in Kwara at end Jan. No way is it a luxury camp as described to us– dated at best. Small/mean tent. We went from Lagoon where the accommodation is far better. No bath and inside shower as informed. Not even a fan - thank goodness it wasn't hot in that respect. The safe worked only by...

I stayed here in November 2016 and thought the camp was pretty nice, but it could use some updating. The tents are old and the main camp areas just seem to be well worn. This was my second Kwando camp and there were a few negatives. There is not a ceiling fan inside the tent. During my stay, it was...

Ok so the tents are a little dated, but this is some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Food was good and the guide and tracker were very good. It is all about the safari so the fact that the tent was a little dated did not matter. Wonderful views also of the hippo pond. The mokoro ride was...

My daughter and I stayed 7 nights at the Kwara Camp. We had a great time saw many animals. Saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, wild dogs, cape buffalo and many other species. The staff was excellent, living quarters clean, food good and had several activities to do throughout the day and night. I highly recommend the Kwara Camp. My daughter...

We had the most wonderful time on safari. We were met at the air strip at Kwara Camp as we got out of the bush plane ( which was fun to fly in, 1000 ft above the beautiful savana seeby Jacob and Gee. These 2 men were exceptional. Gee can track and find lions and elephants giraffes zebras. Jacob will...

We now went to Kwara for the 8th time in about 12 years. We never been disappointed. This time we stayed 4 nights. If you are looking for plunge pools, a spa and a posh camp with first class dining and a John Platter wine cellar, than Kwara will not be your choice. But if you are looking for a...
