We were there with a big group of motorbikers, we actually rented the complete place. After the first evening, the owners gave us the keys to all doors, including the kitchen! :) We just had to write down everything we took, and we did, of course! They (Pilar & Pilar) cooked the most delicious dishes for us! And, whilst having...

A small stone build village up in the hills with narrow alleys where your car's parking radar will peep continuously. Don't lose faith, just continue and follow the signs. Very friendly owner Pilar will do almost anything if you have special wishes. She serves basic dinner and makes breakfast by herself to all guests. It may take some time, so...

When we arrived the owner was not there and we were met by her mother. She spoke no English and we spoke no Spanish but she was very helpful and managed to give us our room. The owner arrived later and introduced herself and her delightful daughter. She does not live on site and went back home to get a...

L"Era de Cal Bastida is beautifully located in a small, stone mountain village. Absolutely picturesque. The village, and the surroundings are outstanding. Access is by a mountain road and the parking is only for small cars. The proprietor, Pilar, was very friendly and helpful. The B&B was very clean and comfortable with great views. The room and bath were very...

We stayed at L'era de Cal Bastida for one night back in September 2012 whilst travelling through France and Spain on a bike, and just loved the place... the roads up to the village were great fun but some might find them a bit narrow - however, that's what we were there for. Fabulous views, a very comfortable room and...

Typical catalan masia located in a quiet, peaceful village. Good views of the valley. The owner was kind and helpful. Simple, very clean and rustic rooms. Full breakfast included in the price (coffe, juice, toast and "embutidos", jam and butter). For the modest price of 13 euros, you can have dinner served (simple but good home-made food, composed of entrée,...

Maria is a fantastic host, helpful friendly and knowledgeable. L'Era de Cal Bastida has too be viewed and seen to be believed in the wonderful surroundings. The views are to die for. The room spotless, wonderfully comfy beds. The balconys are an added bonus to watch the sun set over the mountains. The village is wonderful so old with very...

The reviews about the challenge getting to the hotel were very accurate. We made sure that we got there before dark and pre-ordered dinner. We were rewarded with marvelous scenery and a very private residence. Our rooms each had a terrace overlooking the courtyard and valleys, comfy beds and spacious showers and cos it was off season, we had the...

We stayed there for one night n enjoyed every bit of it n will return if we're there again. It's a little out of the way n the drive up the hill a little harrowing- so don't attempt it late at night when it's pitch black. The streets are extremely narrow n it'll be hard to navigate at night. We'd...
