We arrived at 12.30pm, and had to wait ontil 2pm for cabin, we had booked early check in.We got the keys at 2.20pm which was a little frustrating, but when we entered our cabin, we were more than happy as it was spotless. The cabin-36 treehouse was just as we remembered. We always book this treehouse because , even though its for...

This is by far one of the best holidays we have had in the UK. We often stay in cottages or log cabins as we love to get away with our pup and take long walks together. Yes okay the signal is not great in this location and they do charge £45 for an package of movies, sports and wifi....

We stayed in one of the budget cabin so which to be fair was very high spec interiors, underfloor heating etc for the price we paid I would have expected a little more. The bedrooms were an ok size and convenient twin/double bed a you could push together but the rooms were incredibly hot even with the heating off and...

Loved this place. Stayed in cabin 66 which was a 4 berth even though there was only 2 of us. The extra space and towels was handy. Much bigger than I expected. Kitchen was very good size, bedrooms good size. Small issue with underfloor heating but after reporting fault through tv, somebody was at our cabin within 20 mins and...

Stayed for a week, wanted to stay two. Lovely accommodation, dog-friendly, plenty of room, great outside area with hot tub - good for people who cant get around too easily. Lovely comfy beds, hot clean showers and any problems are reported to reception via the TV. A shop and cafe in the reception area which was open 8.00am - 8.00pm....

The staff were so pleasant and approachable especially ranger Gerry who we did the survival course with who was so informative and really made our trip. Unfortunately whilst on holiday I was...

If you want a private hot tub in the woods then book a gold cabin mid week in winter, otherwise not worth the price. The whole visit was overshadowed by a strong feeling of Forest Holidays trying to extract as much money for as little as possible. I felt happy with the gold 'luxury' cabin and hot tub at the...

We visited in September with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. We had a fantastic time. The cabins were lovely, very well equip and decorated. Wifi and sky packages are extremely expensive. We opted not to bother with these as we only really watched anything after the little ones were in bed so we just watched things...

We stayed in Lodge Number 47 in the middle of the Forest which is secluded and just lovely. The hot tub, even in the rain is just stunning. The lodge is very comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed for a long weekend and we also purchased the entertainment package which I do recommend. We loved...

We 've just come back from a 4 night mid week stay (19th-23rd Dec). This is our 2nd visit in the last two years and we really love it here, the cabins are really warm and well furnished, the hot tubs are gorgeous on the decking, with bbq facilities and outdoor furniture that we still managed to use in December....
