My nephew was getting married at a venue in an area with very few options for accommodation. We were very fortunate to have found this gem for myself, husband, one of my sons and his partner. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived! The rooms were large with a huge comfortable bed ( luxury bedding and pillows) and a bathroom that should be in a magazine. The property is absolutely stunning, so much so we were disappointed that we didn’t have more time to enjoy it. The hostess was lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule for breakfast which was to die for. I hope we have an excuse to return in the future, it’s rare to find such a place at this price, worth every penny.

My friend and I were so happy with the time we spent at Tailwinds! The owns have thought of every detail to make our stay perfect. We appreciated water and chocolates in our rooms and the soaker tub was such an added treat after a cold day spent outdoors. The rooms are nicely done with a super comfortable bed and bedding. We were very impressed with the quiches, fresh fruit and warm croissants & baked goods laid out for our breakfast. I would be happy to stay at this relaxing oasis again if I am ever in the area.

What a welcomed pleasure for us to stay at Tailwinds. The bed and breakfast of your dreams, truly. Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed, spacious room, beautiful grounds, and AMAZING breakfast. Even a camp fire! Every possible need was tended to. We can’t wait to come back! (And we never want to stay in a cold and lonely Airbnb again. Thanks for reminding us the joy of an authentic bnb stay.) -Abby and Greg

This place was amazing! The hospitality & excellent food…incredible. The owners provided us with a shuttle to and from the wedding venue. It was a wonderful relaxing experience, a nice setting, cottage in the country side, and very clean rooms and home. Lots of privacy for our group as well. Thanks again Guys! Hope to see you again!

This is one of the finest B&Bs I've ever stayed at. The owners have done a beautiful job with the place, and are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They even accommodate tenters who are doing hiking and cycling trips in the area.

We visited as a family recently when we were attending a wedding nearby. Trevor was a super accommodating and welcoming host. The home and setting are absolutely beautiful. A great place to visit in the fall with all the changing colours. We were focused on the wedding so we didn’t get a chance to explore the area as much as we would have liked. We would love to come back to explore more!

My husband and I stayed at the B&B one night when visiting a friend in the vicinity, in a room with a king bed. Both the room and the en-suite washroom were generously sized, very comfortable. The decor was tasteful, a well-done balance of modern and heirloom. Friendly owner/host Janet was accommodating  and helpful. Breakfast was delightful, with homemade jams, croissants and excellent coffee, and perhaps because it was a quiet period, also included poached eggs and breakfast sausage despite it being a weekday. Yummy! Another plus for us was finding out that the B&B was close to an access point to a rail trail which we used for a few hours of biking. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to meet Trevor, the other half of the team.  It may be a little out-of-the-way but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for a B&B!

The house setting and accommodations were lovely. The hosts Trevor & Janet are genuinely nice and thoughtful people. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety. Extremely comfortable bed and accommodations. Very clean! All the little details were appreciated and make the difference. The best B&B we have stayed at.
