Sepilok Nature Resort Fantastic! Exceptional! Wonderful! Neighbors to the orangutangs! This place made us almost breathless! It is so magic! Everything is so green and relaxing. The interior is beautiful and done with so good taste! The food is excellent! The chalet we stay in is memorable! We just love the place!

I stayed with my family (3 women) for 3 nights at the Sepilok nature resort. The rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, stylish and private. No wifi in room, only in restaurant. For the most part, the staff were very friendly, professional and helpful.  Especially, the receptionist -rooney and our tour guide -sonny. However, some of the night time restaurant staff...

If it's five star luxury you want then this place is not for you. If you like relaxing and chilling listening to the jungle noises then you want to be here. Setting is fabulous with bar and restaurant overlooking the lake surrounded by the rain forest. Chance encounters with so much wildlife whilst relaxing with a drink or something to...

It's near the sun bear and orang utan rehabilitation centre. Set amidst the jungle. Beautiful settings as it was sitting on a lake. Expect insects and bird calls. The rooms are basic but the bed is comfortable. We had chalet 16 which was slightly shabbier then my aunt's chalet 8. It was pretty cosy and had a flat screen tv...

What shall I say - it was simply beautiful! The chalets are spacious, nicely equiped, standing seperately so you have your privacy and have a terrace with a hammock. All chalets are constructed around a lake and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Food and drinks were tasty and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff was super...

This lodge is just a short drive from Sandakan airport and right next door to the Orang-utan and sun bear rehabilitation centres. Chalets are basic but clean, comfortable and COOL in the jungle heat. I loved the hammock on the deck outside - really relaxing to swing slowly back and forth listening to the jungle sounds and watching the lake...

What a beautiful place to stay. Adjacent to sepilok orangutan rescue centre. We had chalet 9 and stayed for 2 weeks. Chalets are wooden and very spacious. Fully air conditioned. Place has numerous chalets constructed around a lake. All completely separate. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Staff amazing nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful gardens and even a friendly gardener...
