The hotel is part of a complex which is divided in 2 hotels. The Leoniki Residences and Grand. The location of the Residences is much better,Though RCI has graded this as silver and Leoniki Grand as Gold.It is quite a walk from the reception ,restaurant and main pool. There is sound of traffic from the highway in the unit we had though it... Worst part - the road from the airport - not the best car passenger and we had two cloudy days - apart from that cannot fault it. Internet hit & miss but didn't really care too much on that. Lovely friendly staff, brilliant pools (2), peaceful, clean, can't fault it. Enjoyed the restaurants in the area - never had a... More

We had a one bedroom unit. We found everyone so helpful and friendly. Unit was quite basic but exceptionally clean and tidy. Beautiful pool and unusual smaller pool between the blocks of units. Only downside, there were no comfortable chairs inside the unit to use in the evenings, only the two sofa beds in the lounge area with cushions, which... More

Stayed here as family for week swap via RCI. The staff at this resort are really superb - polite, efficient and helpful. Site has 3 outdoor pools and a heated indoor pool, a spa and massage, and pools are well spaced out for the various apartment blocks. It is however only a couple of minutes to walk to a good,... We had a nice apartment overlooking the pool, Bedroom ad bathroom on upper floor Nothing brilliant but adequate, :Location is great and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. The weather was very poor for the first week of October, Unfortunately there is a private apartment block close to our block which had dogs that constantly barking day and night.... More

Location good if you like to be near the beach. Plenty of eating places round about if you choose not to eat in the resort. Great location for sightseeing in western and Southern Crete. The 1 bedroom apartment we had overlooked the pool and was spacious, but the upstairs bedroom had very low ceiling beams near the door. Both my... More

Just got back from Crete after staying a week at the Grand Leoniki. The resort itself was lovely. Nice relaxed ambience, we had a lovely one bed apartment that opened out straight onto a pool. It had everything we needed. The staff at the resort were lovely, especially the restaurant staff, and particularly the manager, we was very obliging with... More

We had fun in spite of our accommodations. This "Diamond Resort" was, in my world-travelled opinion, a terrible place to stay. We stayed there on a friend's timeshare points, and the "resort" is overrun with sales agents trying to sell timeshares. Every 10 minutes someone in a light blue oxford shirt escorts a wide-eyed couple (or family) around the pool... More

We are staying at the resort at the moment and we are very impressed with all aspects of the resort. The pools are well utilised by all ages. The restaurant is fantastic. We took up the opportunity of half board. The food is of a very high standard-fresh from a nearby organic farm. The service is attentive and all the... More

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Grand Leoniki Platanas. Was I happy? No not really !! The resort needs a lot of renovations. The pool areas are rather nice (there are 3 pools there) well looked after. The apartment was in need of a complete make over. We had a 1 bedroom & bathroom (which... More
