I had the best time visiting Rancho Margot. It started from the beginning. I met Chef Maikol late at night. He made me feel like I was at home. His food is amazing. The gluten free pizza was award winning. Mahela and Egenia were very...More
We spent 3 of our 8 day vacation here and it was breathtaking! The ranch is massive and stunning with everything anyone would ever need. We took the ranch tour which was very educational, the horseback ride to an amazing view, and a kayak trip...More

So sorry for the delayed response here....our social media life is a bit chaotic at the moment :) Christopher and the entire team in reception would be happy to arrange private or advise on public transport options for you and your entire group. Nice outline of options above. We have been recommending Liberia airport as the main airport in - due to the activity of the Turrialba volcano this past year.

Hi. There is a playground right next to the dining area. Lots of the great activities include walking, horse back riding....not great for a 3 year old. The hot springs would probably be ok, but you would have to limit the time in the warm water. You could certainly email Rancho Margot to find out about babysitting. The email link is on the website. I would imagine they could arrange it. The people are fantastic at the ranch and really want everyone to be happy and have fun.
