We called and booked a room for 60 E per night. When we arrived I was shown a very nice room but when I confirmed the rate I was told it was 100 E. The receptionist kept telling us his colleague made a mistake. Only after insisting did the receptionist put us in a 60 E a night room. This...

Another stay at Noz Vad. Great value rooms, good breakfast. Nice to return from visiting family to a drink in the bar. Only down side this time was an error in booking meaning a dash back to hotel during family lunch to move rooms! We shall return however .

I have stayed at The Noz Vad quite a few times over the years and it is always just the place for a night stop when coming too and fro on the ferry from Roscoff. The hotel is smart, clean and with very friendly and helpful service. The rooms are just fine and the breakfast very good for a French...

The Noz Vad (Breton for Good Night) is situated in the heart of the little market town of Carhaix, which is itself located in the centre of Brittany. The hotel is decorated in Breton style and showcases works from local artists, there is a small secluded patio garden at the rear and ample free parking all around. The bedrooms which...

The gentleman on the desk could not have been more helpful. He allowed us to see the rooms before hand. Which were very clean and tidy. There is parking behind the Hotel , which is a great bonus. There is outside seating to enjoy a drink or two, bar and breakfast room. Breakfast was great enough to set you on...

This is a lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Spotless rooms. Central location. We arrived on 6 motorcycles and were made very welcome by the manageress. Well worth a visit to this budget hotel. Safe car park at this hotel. Various room sizes and prices

Carhaix is in the centre of Brittany and the centre of the voies vertes, the cycle tracks, which radiate from it on disused railway tracks. It is therefore nice to have a stop-over at this town. Noz Vad is a clean, well-run hotel; close to all of the attractions of Carhaix. It is a little expensive for what it is,...

Stopped for a coffee and liked the look of the place so we asked for a room. We asked for the confort rate 57 euros, which is one step above basic. We were given an upgrade as the prestige room was the one available (it was fairly early in the morning), it was a duplex room with cable tv, towelling...

Took some time to find a place near the start of the fascinating cycling route (V6) but luckily found the Noz Vad. Well located in the center of this interesting town (“a ciy in the countryside” of central Brittany) We stayed there with our 3 teenage children for only one night but what a pleasant surprise! The personnel is friendly...

Stayed for one night - they have differing levels (and costs) of bedrooms. The basic are just that - very basic with no tea/coffee facilities. We upgraded to one of their privelege rooms, which meant a duvet rather than blankets and a tea tray. Room was very clean and rather dramatically decorated (think Hammer Horror meets 70's adult film!!) however...
