A 19th century chapel conversion completed in 2013 and set in the rural village of Coton in the Elms, 5 miles from Burton On Trent and 4 miles from Swadlincote. The Old Band Room offers accommodation in a tranquil village location where the ducks wonder on the village green and you can walk to local pub. There is free parking and reliable high speed WiFi. In the morning, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast using outdoor reared pork sausages and bacon with free-range hen & duck eggs from the village, all freshly cooked to order. There are home-made preserves, fresh and stewed fruit and cafetierre coffee. Vegetarians, vegans, celiac & other diets can be catered for on request. The bedrooms at The Old Band Room are spacious and individually decorated. They all have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toiletries. There is Smart flat-screen TV with internet access, hairdryer and a hospitality tray. East Midlands & Birmingham airports are both 30 minutes away. Rosliston Forestry Centre is 1 mile away, Catton Hall is 3 miles away and the National Memorial Arboretum is 4 miles away.

Booked in for a two night stay, Heather was very helpful, everything happened in an exact manner whilst being casual and friendly. Rooms are first class, hope to stay again before Peter and Heather move on.

I think there are three rooms. We stayed in the front bedroom. It is their most expensive (£80per room, per night) but it is very big, en suite with a nice shower set, top of the range tv with internet, wifi and good quality... More
