We enjoyed our meal. Restaurant was very busy but service was good. I had the beef fillet steak , rare and it was cooked to my liking and very tasty. The gluten free pepper sauce was good too and they can cater for my gf needs on some dishes. I also come here for family dinner, events and the odd drink. Nice friendly family owners.

Fantastic hotel with clean, spacious rooms, powerful showers, comfortable beds and centrally located. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful from reception through to the cleaners and service staff. The food is lovingly prepared Irish comfort food. Generous portions and I heartily recommend the ribs and the gourmet burger cooked in their smoker, Bertha... Unbelievable flavour

My partner and myself were attending a wedding in Donegal and were looking for a hotel to stay the night to break up the drive from Belfast. We booked Mahon’s hotel last minute and didn’t know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised!! We received a very warm welcome on arrival and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. The twin room was very clean and comfortable with one of the biggest beds I’ve even seen, perfect for our overnight stay. We had dinner in the bar and it was outstanding the portions were big and it was proper home cooked food. The breakfast the next more had a buffet style continental and a menu to order your hot breakfast. Again the food at breakfast was fantastic quality, delicious and piping hot just what you need to set you up for the day. We learned during our stay that this hotel is dog friendly so without a doubt we will be back hopefully in June for my partner’s birthday. I highly recommend you give Mahon’s hotel a try if your in the area.

Myself and sister and 2 friends have visited 4 times this year. I used to visit with my husband but am now widowed as are all 4 of us.
The owners and staff go above and beyond to make us welcome and look after us. Nothing is too much trouble. We would not get such good hospitality anywhere else. The food is gorgeous and we also enjoy the entertainment. The locals are very friendly and easy to mix with for a chat. The local shopkeepers are also so welcoming and we live to spend time looking around and treating ourselves of course. In fact I spotted a beautiful picture in gorgeous Dickeys shop but didn't buy it on the Saturday. I kept thinking about it and mentioned it to Joe Mahon later that evening. Well. He phoned the owner on Sunday morning and she and her husband came to the shop and I got the picture. After I paid she told me the picture is called "the Camelot Road to tomorrow ". When I looked up the meaning of Camelot it has several meanings. One being " a place of profound happiness" !!!
How's that for service!!!!
Mahons hotel is definitely my happy place !!

Have just spent a wonderful time at Mahons. After having two other holidays this year cancelled due to covid, we were lucky to be able to book this break in Irvinestown. What an absolute treat it was. Every member of staff that we met were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Hotel bedrooms huge and spotless clean. Staff always cleaning and sanitizing main areas i.e.door handles, stair rails , tables. There was a great menu choice and portion sizes were huge. The atmosphere at this lovely place has to put a smile on anyone's face at this time of worry. A huge thank you to Joe and his family and staff. We will definitely be back Dave and Jan Harris

Do not stay on room 207 or any others near the bar, was given prior warning it was above the bar area and was given a discounted price of ÂŁ45 b&b. What they didn't tell me was that the music starts at 10.45pm, finished at 2.15am then more loud music until after 2.30am. Drunken noise until well after 3am. At that point a night of being water boarded in Guantanamo Bay felt more appealing. absolutely exhausted next day and to add insult to injury the room was freezing cold. When I dialled 0 for reception at 2am to complain no one answered. This was a real shame as the hotel itself, staff and food were all excellent. One of my worst hotel room experiences for a long time. Usual sympathy when checking out next morning with the standard "we will sort you out next time you visit" why not sort me out now and don't charge for the bed part of b&b? Doubt I will ever be back.

Response from Joe Mahon, Owner at Mahon's Hotel
Responded Sep 3, 2020
Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you enjoyed the food in Mahon's, and found the staff to be friendly. We are very sorry to hear that there was a lot of noise in the rooms. As some of rooms are above the bar this can be the case and as noted we always make people aware of this before staying with us. These rooms are only offered when the rest of the hotel is fully booked. We are sorry to hear that no one answered the phone - this is not acceptable and the phone is always set to the night porter, so this should not have happened.

Lovely stay at Mahons hotel. We had heard so much about the hotel from family friends and thought we would book two nights away and we hadn’t been to Fermanagh in so long.
The hotel is so homely, really friendly staff, great food and atmosphere.
The hotel is very clean, the room we stayed in was very spacious and I can’t tell you how comfortable the beds are!
Great variety of food on the menu for dinner as well as breakfast - it’s nice how you can order from a menu for breakfast as the food tasted freshly made to order.
Would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone.

Have stayed at mahons a few times and once again it didn't fail to impress. Lovely room ( 106). Staff are beyond excellent . Excellent food priced well. Music both nights I stayed. This is by one of the best hotels I have stayed in while enjoying the delights of northern ireland. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Beautiful big spotless rooms! Very comfy 6ft bed. Staff were very friendly and the hotel bar has a very homely feel! The food was so good and excellent value. Booked bed and breakfast and really enjoyed the breakfast each morning… set you up for the day. The menu could be served in the restaurant or in the bar area which was great… all the same menu, same prices, just choose your surroundings. They have a special each evening. We Really enjoyed the roast beef dinner and had the biggest chargrilled burger I’ve ever seen. All in all a great warm hotel which was a fantastic base fora few nights to pack in loads of activities as we did the Cuilcagh board walk, boat hire at castle Archdale, Enniskillen castle and a wee trip to Lusty beg island. Have to give a shout out to staff member called Chantelle as she goes to such a massive effort with the guests when dining at breakfast and the evening, very bubbly and welcoming and always making sure everything is just perfect! I’d definitely go back!! The hotel exceeded our expectations!

Yes as far as I know this hotel is dog friendly.
Sorry I don’t know, we weren’t fishing, but give the hotel a call, they’re very helpful and welcoming?
