My wife and I were visiting friends over the Xmas period and they booked us into this hotel. The staff are very pleasant helpful and knowledgable . The hotel from the outside looks typical of the area and is located in a corner of the square but inside it has been refurbished and to a very high standard. Our room...

We booked a 2 day stay at Hotel Amfora for business. The pleasant owners tipped us off to park around the corner, down the road at the local primary school, to avoid parking charges/fines if parking in the town square. We were given a large split-level room on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel, with a window...

From the first moment we walked into this hotel, we were met with warm, friendly smiles. The hotel was warm, safe and in a perfect location for visiting the historical WW1 sites. During our four day stay, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of which were excellent. The (Superior) room was large with big windows so plenty of natural...

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is right on the main square yet the rooms are very quiet. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs. Rooms are very large and comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed two nights at this charming place in the Belgian countryside for its easy access to local beer and WWI sites. The staff was very friendly and helped us with questions. An easy drive to St. Bernardus and St. Sixtus for world famous beer and to Ypres for WWI sights. The room was modern and spacious with great amenities....

We normally stay in Ypres when we travel through this part of Belgium, and drive straight through Poperinge . We've missed out! No parking problems,no crowds, no unfathomable one way system! The hotel was good - we had a deluxe room, which was large with a very comfortable bed and an extra large bathroom. Staff were good, friendly and helpful....

This place has modern rooms with very comfortable beds. It's located right at the Market where all the restaurants in town are. A block from here, there is a small exhibit on war prisoners in WWI. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice and service minded. We couldn't ask for much more. We stayed here after...
