We were two couples staying one night. We had only managed to book one 2-bed room which our friends took. They were very happy with it. My husband and I had to go into separate M and F dorms - something we hadn't done for ages! 5/6 beds were filled in the girls dorm - and despite keeping different hours,...

We stayed here for one night in one of two camping pods available in the grounds of the property. Our welcome to the YHA was friendly and informative and staff were always keen to help. Our pod was nicely designed, quiet and comfortable. It got a little chilly in the evening but there is a nifty electric heater provided and...

The room was comfortable although I put the top bunk mattress on the floor for the night. The main issue was the noise at night...

One of the best of the many YHA's we have stayed in. Good self catering kitchen/diner with the best views. The rooms are light, airy and clean. Good restaurant, staff catered for dairy free kid. Looking forward to returning.

Just got back from a 2 day weekend break at Malham YHA in Yorkshire. The place was ideal for a large group we had 38 people celebrating my husband's 50th. Facilities excelkent, the place was clean. Lots of places for adults to sit and chill and areas for teenagers to hang out. The beds were made up for us which...

I'd normally camp at Malham but was forced reluctantly into the hostel by a tent issue during the previous night's rather ambitious summit camp that had left all my gear soaked. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Despite dealing with the aftermath of a huge school party they let me use the large and efficient drying...

This youth hostel is modern clean and offers the usual choice of shared bunk bed rooms or private rooms, en suite may or may not include shower, but that is a minor detail as there are plenty of shared facilities. The hostel also offers breakfast and a 3 course evening meal if you wish to avail, and is also licenced...
