My wife and I spent 3 nights in a Superior room in the Lister Cottage attached to the Inn. I can't speak highly enough of the accommodation and service. We had room 16 with an excellent King-size bed, sofa & coffee table, wardrobe, plenty of drawer space, excellent shower, fresh milk and good heating. The room was considerably better than...

As someone who has been visiting Malham for 40 years, I have been a guest at the Lister Arms previously but this is the first time in the Lister Barn which is a converted former shop only a few seconds walk from the main building. Thwaites Brewery allegedly spent around £1.6 million on the property and it shows. The staff...

Superb stay in the Lister Barn, 2 adults, 2 children age 3and 9. The barn is a one minute walk from the Lister Arms. We still had all the luxuries of staying in the hotel, breakfast etc, just had to walk for one minute. The barn rooms are great, we had a 2 storey conversion, plenty of space for a...

Didn't know what to expect, but what a fantastic hotel. Nestled in a small village outside Skipton what a beautiful location. Really made to feel welcome, this dog friendly hotel is one of the best hotels in have ever stayed in. The rooms are spotlessly clean and don't smell of dogs which is what I was expecting, the beds are...

I visited here in September (apologies for the delay in posting this review) as I was staying in the nearby youth hostel. Dinner was excellent, lovely ambience and setting, it is my intention to stay a couple of nights and enjoy this lovely pub hotel a bit more.

Stayed for 2 nights on a b&b basis. Room was good and breakfast very good. Beers were superb, great selection and well kept. Staff were kept very busy. Went midweek think it could be overwhelmed on a weekend or during the high season.

This really is exceptionally good pub food and beer plus there is a wide range of cheeses and even a guest port! My pie and mash last night warranted a second visit today and I was happy to splash out on a fillet steak! Beautifully cooked and worth every penny. What's really Impressive is that tourists aren't taken for granted!...

Stayed in April in one of the new barn rooms over the beck from the main hotel and bar. Room spacious and comfortable and warm - Drying room for those walking plus a dog wash. Barn has own lounge with tea and coffee and a log burner - which was appreciated as the days where wet and blowy Restaurant and...

We spent the weekend in Malham, quite a lot of the afternoon drinking in this lovely pub. The staff where very friendly and the lager was really good. Open fire made it a really cosy place to sit, be warm & relax. Will certainly return.
