We have stayed here before and frankly it's fabulous! We arrived and the house was lovely and warm and welcoming. We were offered a hot drink but after a long trip we wanted to get to our room. The young girl (Steph) showed us to our room which we had booked the Sutherland room but we were surprised to be...

We decided to try the Afternoon Tea and were bowled over by the experience. Lovely surroundings, real silver service and delicious food and tea/coffee. Kirsten, our waitress, was a charming, polite and knowledgeable young lady who was a credit to the family owners. Worth the visit and now going to be a regular destination for us.

This is really somewhere special. We arrived to be greeted with pots of tea by an open log fire. Dinner (we were there for Steak Night) was simply outstanding, and we were encouraged to finish our wine in leather sofas in the Drawing Room, with another wood fire lit just for us. Breakfast the next day was just as good...

A beautiful historic manor with a laid back homely feel. The buffet breakfast is exceptional with lots of choice from an imaginative menu, all freshly prepared by a chef who is dedicated to his craft. The rhubarb compote was moreish! Was mighty impressed that the chef, who had just left, turned his car around and came back to make us...

Wonderful place - sold as a B&B but more of a hotel. The house itself is very interesting and the room we had was beautiful - decorated in a style which suited the building. The staff were all lovely and attentive. We had dinner in the restaurant - everything was cooked to perfection and breakfast didn't disappoint.

Wonderful intimate little gem. Please enjoy. Staff were efficient, professional and so friendly. The chef, Colin, is hugely talented and could'nt do enough to meet our slightly weird dietary demands. Love the place, you will too.

Lunch was in a lovely "period-style" restaurant. The menu was different but very nice. No soup and sandwich deals or the like, but in a way that was good, as we chose something completely different. Service was excellent. Only down side is that there is not a lot of parking places.

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst away on business. We had our dog with us. There is no place for you to eat with your dog and they are not allowed unattended in the bedrooms. We we reluctant to leave our dog in the car after such a long journey so the wonderful duty manager suggested that...
