I stayed here for work purposes and it is by far the worst contractors hostel I have ever stayed I.
Suspicions to the level of cleanliness were raised when I noticed the very dark brown carpets and black small towels.

i stay at the lodge for three weeks for working
the room was a bit small but get everything i want comfy bed nice shower
nice bar also the barman simon was very nice
also the breakfast was nice for 5£

I came here 4 days with my wife and my children the lodge is a bit old but comfy
The breakfast was amazing with lot of choice croissant ham boiled eggs etc...also the hotel is well located 5 min from the train station so easy...More
Stayed here for 2 months whilst working in the area basic but clean and friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the breakfast room and bar Simon (the manager) was more than helpful and would stay here again

It's absolutely disgraceful. Half a step up from a hostel in my opinion. Their advertising is hugely overrated to the point of lying.......I actually shivered when I saw the photos again. Awful awful place.

Hello ring up and speak to Donna she will/should make arrangements for your needs my disabled mother managed in her wheel chair there a little step into the hotel like a kurb hight she only took over a couple of days before we arrive so she never took our booking so mum had to go up 2 steps inside to our room but I know Donna said next time she get us in ground floor hope this helps you
