We visited back in August 2005 on our wedding night! We decided we want to return for our 10th wedding anniversary :) we often think back how beautiful the house is. The breakfast was lovely. And a very romantic setting. Very much looking forward to come back.

First I must say this B&B is a bargain, I think it is actually under priced for what it provides. This bed and breakfast really does date back to the 14th century. It has been sensitively upgraded since then. It's location in the middle of Romney Marsh is peaceful, with surprisingly far reaching views. The garden is tranquil and pretty with... More

We liked this place. One of us is allergic to feathers. The booking agency had not passed on a request for a synthetic duvet. No problem - the bedding was swiftly changed. The four poster bed was very comfortable, the shower antiquated but worked and how pleasant to be able to make decent coffee in a cafetiere first thing in... More

We stayed for 2 nights to explore the marsh. The room was delightful and comfy. Breakfast was excellent, with a selection of fresh fruit to start, and locally sourced full breakfast. The lit fire in the lounge on a cold night was warming and welcoming

Just arrived home after our second stay at this wonderful place. Everything from a welcome as warm as the log fire in the lounge, to the unbelievably comfy bed with goose down duvet, to a breakfast so good that we didn't need lunch even after a 10 mile walk means we're already looking forward to our next excuse for a...
