My wife and I booked Dalhousie Castle on Hotels.com to experience staying at a castle in Scotland. Dalhousie exceeded our expectations. We were driving a rental car and found the parking extremely convenient and located right at the front door. The grounds were spectacular

Really lovely castle to stay in and close to downtown Edinburgh! However I wish I could have used the spa facilities but I wasn't sure how to go about doing that, or if it was included in the price of the room. Otherwise everything was great!

We had a memorable weekend at Dalhousie attending a family wedding. Overall we had a very good experience and would certainly come back to visit. We were in one of the rooms in the castle grounds and next time around we would choose to stay in the main building.

Hi Tara, I'll be glad to answer your question, and btw, Tara is my daughter's name also. If you don't mind climbing many, narrow, stairs with your luggage because there's no elevator, without doubt the best room is the William Wallace Room. I took a group of 3 couples, we all stayed on the top floor, and the William Wallace Room was breathtaking. It was spacious, small balcony, PLUS, it's one of the most haunted rooms in Scotland ~S~. Feel free to contact me more about Scotland and Ireland. I live in Virginia.

Could you please advise if there are bath robes in the rooms.
Hi there! Yes, there were bathrobes in the room where we stayed that I believe you could purchase, but I was unclear as to whether wearing them meant an automatic purchase. They had slippers as well. However we stayed in the honeymoon suite so I don't know if that's something available in every room or just the suites.
