We arrived on Friday, checked in happily (to an upgrade room -yay!) and went to have a bite to eat. It was about 2pm, they were still serving lunch but I genuinely don't know what happened! Drinks were fine, but the food was awful. The prawns came with noodles (not mentioned on the menu and my friend can't eat wheat)...

Room 261 great view of Castle and bay. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Long drive from Sussex but worth every mile. We will be going back fir a longer stay. Evening meal service a little slow but otherwise all ok.

Didn't expect to like this place, but found it to be a nice location and very comfortable. We had a first floor suite that faced the river and could sit outside with a salty breeze. The biggest downside is it is in a residential development and there are no other pubs or restaurants in walking distance. The on-site restaurant is...

Although our trip was part business, we did manage to spend leisure time here. The location is easy to find and the views from the riverside are beautiful, so lovely photos. Our room (201) was great and fitted out with all we required. The hotel is very well equipped and very clean. The staff are great. The rooms are good...

Ok I guess. Not the best hotel ever but far from the worst. Didn't feel it was luxurious, but was certainly adequate. The iron in the room was terrible and the shower pressure was so poor that it struggled to rinse the soap off.... Very clean, stunning views and very friendly staff. Breakfast was well stocked. Not the venues fault,...

My husband and myself stayed for one night at this hotel, we stayed in an Executive Suite overlooking the marina and estuary which we fully recommend. The suite was very large 2 big leather settees, large wide flat screen TV in it's own cabinet. This suite had a balcony with 2 lounger chairs and table to sit relax and enjoy...

Enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Quays, ABBA tribute night was excellent. The hotel and all its facilities are second to none. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back, looking at the Soul and Motown night in November.

We stayed at The Quay Hotel & Spa for a long weekend over the bank holiday. We were expecting quite high standards from the amount that we had paid. Our room was a little dated, more like Premier Inn standard. The bar had lovely views over bay but the furniture and fittings were tired, for example the chair arms were...

We stayed for two nights on the bed breakfast and wine deal which was good value. In hindsight I would only have dinner on one night as the menu didn't change much on the second night, which was a bit of an inconvenience for the vegetarian in the party, although a suitable workaround was managed well by the restaurant staff...
