Had the pleasure to stay at this delightful hotel over a 10 period whilst working in the area. The rooms are comfortable with all usual amenities. The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

We popped in yesterday for Sunday lunch, it was our first visit to the Pembroke Bar after hearing rave reviews. The staff were very friendly, all covid measures were in place, we felt safe. We both had starters followed by roast beef main course with an abundance of lovely vegetables, which was all delicious. Sadly we were to full for dessert and took some vegetables home in a doggy bag. I would thoroughly recommend The Wainstones Hotel for Sunday lunch and we'll definitely be returning

We stayed for one night while walking the Cleveland Way booked through Macs Adventures. The room was comfortable and the food was very good both in the evening and again for breakfast. Our hosts were very helpful providing fresh milk for the room, sandwiches for the next day and a complimentary transfer to Clay Bank Top to resume our walk.

Stayed here for a weekend with family. Lovely cosy hotel spotlessly clean, generous breakfast and absolutely fantastic restaurant menu with great tasting dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for Teeside and the North York Moors with trails for walkers within easy reach.

Atrocious, went with some friends after a bad week to cheer us up, after waiting over an hour with no warning we asked where our food was to be told it will be ten minutes, 20 minutes later still no food , as soon as we went to leave we were told ohh its coming now, no apology or anything, we honestly felt like we wernt regulars so we didnt matter. we then were marched with attitude to reception to pay for our drinks. i asked for a manger to be told by the women"i am the manager" still no apology. absolutely disgusting and would not recommend here to anyone.
