Comfortable rooms with good facilities, if slightly dark from lack of light. Staff were very friendly, even opening the Bar early for us! We were provided with a good breakfast and it's worth having the lunch sandwich pack. We opted for the drop-off back to the Coast-to-Coast/Cleveland Way route the next day, and that was no trouble at all. Nice...

We stayed one night at the Wainstones Hotel on our C2C. A nice large room and bath. Very quiet and a good nights sleep. The pub was nice and the servers friendly. The ride back to the C2C was very much appreciated. The dinner menu was limited and was of average quality.

sometimes stay here if I need quick access to Teesside. What a lovely place. Most of the rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard and the folk are great. Ever so helpful and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Stayed here as had attended a function and knew I'd be having a few drinks. The room I got was supposedly recently refurbished, bathroom was modernised but the actual bedroom was very tired and dated and clearly hadn't been redecorated despite the claims from the staff. The bathroom was modern and clean however the plumbing was extremely noisy. The bed...
