First impression upon arrival, even better than the photos, and an added bonus with the Christmas decorations. Greeted by friendly host Zoe and offered a complimentary wine or beer. We stayed in room one which was lovely and clean, nice decor, clean shower/toilet room. Had a separate room with TV and sofa, plus kettle, tea/coffee. Did not use TV in...

I was expecting for the money for this to be a bit nicer than it was. By no means was it bad but I would of thought the rooms would be decorated much nicer than they were as it was quite a unique setting. We stayed in the Tool Shed which was comfortable- although some 'cottagey' furnishings and more pictures...

I spent a night here with my husband. Was a little disappointed I actually thought the rooms were in the mill but they weren't. They were on the side in some converted buildings. The room was clean and nicely decorated very basic. We paid extra and had breakfast which was very nice. One long table and everyone sat together. They...

My partner had booked the Old Mill in Yarm as a surprise weekend away. The reason that Jacqui had booked the Old Mill was because we like to stay in different places. Recently we stayed in a Tree House in Wales which was fantastic. Anyway we thought that we would actually be staying in an Old Mill? (Not too unreasonable...

My hubby booked this stay as a wedding anniversary gift we were not disappointed. Lovely warm welcome by the housekeeper she was so nice, accommodating, friendly and pleasant this lady clearly works very hard, the room we stayed in was spotless clean, shower cubicle was gleaming, I've no idea what these people are talking about saying rooms were dusty, dirty...

Lovely location, warm welcome from Andy with complimentary glass of wine. Lovely room, shame weather was too cold to venture into the hot tub. TV reception was poor and no wi-fi in rooms. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

This booking was made in early September for a friends birthday weekend on 20th November. I rang the company on the 12th November just to confirm arrival and check in times. On speaking with the manager I was informed that our booking was cancelled due to maintenance work on the apartments.Surely they must have known about this sooner? I wonder...

First the very good positives. Wow when I first drove up. Wow the checking in experience and big wow when I saw my room. Lovely, quiet and spacious. I was in Room 2 which is in a courtyard at the back of the property. I would guess the location is even better in the Summer. Complimentary glass of wine which...

We checked in and got a complimentary glass of wine/beer. Zoe and Andy are a gorgeous couple and make you feel really welcome, even on Saturday night when they were going out they invited us round for a drink before they went. Our room was lovely and clean with plenty of fresh towels, we were there Friday to Sunday and...

Very nice place to stay. Checked in by the owner Zoe who was very friendly and complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch. We stayed in the barley store and had a very relaxing night. Thanks Zoe, as we said when talking to you this morning we will definitely be coming back. Lee & Karen
