A lovely hotel in nice grounds. The room was larger than average and all the fixtures/fittings worked perfectly. The public rooms are of a classic style and tastefully decorated. We ate dinner in the restaurant and, again, it was faultless - so much so that my companion lamented that the toffee pudding came with ice cream, rather than custard and,...

Great hotel. Lovely staff. Easy walk to town. We went on a deal offer. Food is fantastic.our only criticism is that tnere was a roaring fire in the hall but nit in the v comfortable lounge. This is a v small criticism!

Just as good as ever. An out of season 5 night break - professional everything - food, service, rooms - the lot. Hope to be back before too long. An excellent base for the coast and the moors.If you cannot relax here, there is something seriously wrong!

A beautiful luxury hotel set in picturesque grounds. So peaceful warm and welcoming inside I like to go along for coffee where you can sit and chill. Nice food also do sandwiches snacks like toasted teacake or fruit cake.

Booked the conservatory for a surprise 80th birthday meal for my mother. Beautiful setting, very pleasant staff and lovely food. The whole event felt really special. Definitely recommend for a private function - excellent!

Stayed with hubby for a couple of days this week. Hoped for satisfaction and got it. Lovely staff in every area of the hotel, amazing dining experience and a great room in the Woodlands Wing. Can't fault the place and will be returning.

I booked a 2 day Bed, breakfast & evening meal offer break for a treat for my husband and myself at the end of March. The welcome was warm, the hotel and room were lovely and the evening meal was excellent with lovely staff making it a relaxing and enjoyable break. Just what we needed
