Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Old Swan & Minster Mill, excellent food and service. The grounds were a delight to the eye and the setting so peaceful, but in easy travelling distance of the Cotswold attractions

Lovely hotel and Restaurant, The perfect weekend away from London, loads of riverside walks and easy distance to some of the Cotswolds best villages. Staff in the resturant was very attentive and food was of a high quality. I did see some reviews mentioning poor quality service at breakfast but this was is not the case. If there was am...

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden Suite which felt completely separate from the actual hotel, there was an extra charge of £25 per person to use the pool area and no under 16s were allowed. There were no firepits on the patio as shown on the website. There is a pub which is part of the hotel used...

Ambience service and romance has been sacrificed to the growing corporate market. You can hide away in the lovely original hotel if you prefer very cosy and intimate. Bathrooms are tiny. Luxury toiletries and beverages are a bonus.

Very disappointing weekend break at this hotel, we stayed in the Garden Suite which was the most expensive room as we had my 11 year old daughter and wanted a little more space. We enquired about the pool and spa facilities and we were told that there was a charge of £25 to use the pool facility unless you were...

The two buildings, separated by a lane, are lovely rambling old houses (though the Mill has been extended substantially, though tastefully), by the river Windrush. There was generally a log fire going in the bar area, and there is plenty to do, both in good weather and bad. The surrounding area offers some lovely walks, including a ruined country house...

This is a wonderful hotel that does exude a luxurious feel. The quality of the rooms is great with freestanding large bath double rainforest style shower and waterfall taps. The room was spacious and just great. Can't really comment on service as was only there a day but everyone seemed lovely. Often it's nice just to be left to it....

Really clean friendly beautiful place, but the classic room was far too small. We choose this because the rooms and facilities looked so nice on the website, we paid a higher price than a lot of other places for that reason. But when we got to our room it was just too cramp, tiny thin wardrobe, nowhere to put bags...

Dear 1418DYroberth Thank you very much for reviewing your recent stay with us. I am so pleased that you had a good time with us but it is a shame that you found your room to be too small. We have so many room types that it is difficult to comment on the room allocated to you this time. Some...

The building is wonderful, old and pretty. The staff were miserable, no atmosphere and the menu was very limited. Having waited 30 mins to order and then another 45 mins for the food to arrive, with only the five of us eating, the disappointment of the final arrival of the food was enough to make you want to cry. For...

Dear beverleypawson Thank you so much for commenting on your recent dining experience with us. Please accept my sincere apologies that you found your experience with us lacking in so many ways. We usually receive such positive feedback so I am obviously concerned that we let ourselves down so badly on this occasion. I would like to investigate with the...
