We stayed in the old swan part of the pub, it was beautiful, with lots of character. The room was lovely very comfortable, and there were nice touches such as a carafe of sloe gin to help ourselves to. Rooms were cleaned daily and beds turned down in the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it....

We stayed for a romantic three days and found the room, grounds and food outstanding! Even so, two of the staff, Sandra and Zena (sp?) truly went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, but these two ladies helped make us feel at home. We cannot recommend the Old Swan &...

We personally have nothing but positive comments regarding our stay. Front Desk Staff was so accommodating at check-in, especially Caroline and our dining experiences were most satisfactory. The property is located in an idyllic setting in the Cotswolds and great location for day trips to Stratford on Avon, Village of Bampton for Downton Abby fans, Stonehenge & Bath. Would definitely...

We visited the Old Swan & Minster Mill in February. When I say we, there were 6 adults, 2 children and 2 Labradors. Rather than booking 3 rooms we opted to book the Swan Cottage. This is separate to the main hotel but adjacent to the restaurant,. It was recently refurbished to a very high standard. The accommodation being 3...

As I was a guest, I did not want to complain at the time, but now I have a chance. To start I ordered Gravadlax at £9.50 and received a small mean portion by anyone's standards. For main course I ordered Gnocchi (£14.50, one of the cheaper menu items) which was not cooked properly and to top it off, was...

We had a lovely weekend break at the Old Swan and Minster Mill. The setting is idyllic, beside the river Windrush, in a peaceful, quaint small Oxfordshire village. We enjoyed the local country walk to a neighbouring village and the instructions in the free booklet were perfect. We thought our room was what we would expect in such a quaint...

We called here for a pub lunch last month following the recommendations in the Good Pub Guide. What a picturesque location! We placed our order and settled back in the attractive surroundings of the bar and waited, and waited and waited. I was there for a conference and could not have enjoyed it more. The staff were great, the food was very good for such an event and wine was also excellent. We booked for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and thought this hotel would be ideal. The location is lovely.
