My second stay here and it was as good as the first Eddie and Heather were outstanding hosts and I was a guinea pig to another cracking meal from Heather's kitchen. For walking and wildlife you cannot beat it, days earlier there were two otter kits close to the garden. A word of warning it is a long way from...

My friend and I had spent 3 days in the hills, with the second two being very wet. Walking out of Rannoch Moor with the promise of Venison stew pulling us on, Bridge of Gaur Guesthouse was everything we could have wished for. A warm welcome from Heather and Ed for 2 very soggy people and a damp dog. They...

We came up here for a wedding and spent three very happy, cosy nights. Heather and Eddie are the perfect B&B owners: really friendly, helpful and unintrusive too. Comfy rooms and hearty meals (we came away with one of Heather's recipes), good wine and scotch. We left our charger in the room and received it back in the post before...

Ideal location for walking, shooting, fishing or just relaxing. Have stayed here twice now, once just a few days ago and once last year but didn't bother to write a review at that time which was just laziness on my part. On both occasions the hosts Edward and Heather were warm, welcoming and friendly. Accommodation clean, fresh and bright with...

Having made our fourth trip to Bridge of Gaur Guest house we continue to sing its praises. Eddie and Heather are fantastic hosts and they never flag in their efforts to look after you and make your stay a genuine treat. The food is still of the same high quality and the room spotlessly clean and of course the spectacular...

We spent four nights here last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful - modern, clean and bright, and we loved waking up to the most gorgeous view every morning. It's right out in the middle of nowhere so lovely for a get away from real life! We and our dog were warmly welcomed from the minute...

We would not be writing this review if the train from Rannoch station hadn't left early and stranded us, but how glad we were that it did. It was our wedding anniversary and we had dined at The Moor of Rannoch hotel about 5 miles up the road and after being left behind we were in need of a bed...

Just spent two nights at the Bridge of Gaur Guesthouse with a group of friends who we got walking with every year. We have stayed in many fantastic places and this was right up there with the best. The rooms were comfortable, the food fantastic and the welcome genuine and warm. Would highly recommend.

Just back from our third visit to Bridge of Gaur Guesthouse. This place is a great little find. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, VERY comfy beds, great bathrooms with decent powerful showers and the food is fantastic. This is a lovely guesthouse. We had such a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. the rooms are so comfortable, the food excellent, and the views wonderful. Do book early as this is going to become more and more popular. Even our 4 year old labradoodle was made to feel at home. Such a lovely area too. Recommend this...
