This pub is a real gem and Martin and his team are very welcoming, there's always a friendly smile & the triple roast is out of this world, Martin is a bit of a wine buff and will always guide you to a suitable wine to match your meal

A busy town hotel with lots of guests on a saturday evening. We stayed there on our walk along the NDW and it's close to the trail. The staff was friendly and we had a nice stay. We also had dinner there and both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately we stayed there on a saturday night with a big...

Went here (again) with local friends for Sunday lunch. Not impressed. Yes there was a Jazz themed BBQ going on in the car park so service could have been disrupted. It took a long time and a couple of chases to get the menus and to get the order taken. Four of us six ordered the beef carvery, cooked from...

Went to Wedding Open Day at The Bull in March and fell in love with "The Buttery". From the time we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. We had the 4 poster bedroom- excellent space for 8 girls to get ready. Hannah, Leanne and their team were amazing. They not only made our day run smoothly...

This came highly recommended and we could all see why. Great food and very good prices. Room was perfect (the mattress could have been a bit better) and clean. The staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble including washing new shirts before the wedding. Would gladly recommend them.

A nice old building in the village close to the 3 motorway interchange. A lovely friendly reception at the bar prior to be shown to our table for our prebooked lunch. The food we enjoyed must be amongst the best in Kent for meat and fish lovers. The service continued to be friendly and efficient with the staff offering knowledgeable...

This hotel was booked for myself and two colleagues who had a meeting nearby. On first appearances it looked very nice, even if I was disappointed that I'd been booked into somewhere with no gym. Anyway, I was given a superior room which had a four poster bed. The room was large and had a sofa and a wooden floor...

Our room was wonderful- very spacious & stylish with a super-modern bathroom. Breakfast was great with excellent local produce & yoghurts. The only gripes were minor - the automatic lights (on a timer) going off while I was under the shower; the TV being fixed so that you couldn't watch it from the sofa; noisy traffic in the morning; and...

The room was a good standard, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was good and I enjoyed my stay. The staff were attentive and pleasant to deal with over the phone when I booked the place too. I'm just not convinced that the standard of the room and food quite matched up to the relatively high price, especially as breakfast...

I booked this hotel for my son and his friend who were playing in a golf tournament nearby. The original room was for 1 person and they charged £50 extra fora single bed which is fair. My son said the food was overpriced for the quality. My son left the hotel first and when his friend checked out he was...
