This is a charming hotel which is part of the Relais de Silence. It's a good twenty-five minute drive from Antequera and I wouldn't want to be trying to find it in the dark for the first time. Our GPS was useless. It's close to the extraordinary lunar landscape of El Torcal National Park. The hotel was delightful and our...

We landed at Malaga airport and hired a car for our Andalusian honeymoon. I didn't know our first palce to stay and wasn't dissappointed with La Fuente del Sol. It's location, way up in the hills, was perfect for the retreat we were looking forward to after our wedding. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a balcony overlooking the...

We went to this hotel to celebrate a wedding, and were most pleased about it. Located in a beautiful setting, with charming rooms, and excellent service, there was nothing left to be desired. Strongly recommended!

If you're looking for relaxation and emersion into the countryside, you'll love this beautiful hotel. The views are amazing, rooms range from very nice to fabulous, restaurant is superb and staff very friendly. It's a little out of the way from the tourist path but we loved the whole experience. The local walks are great and all in all a...

We hosted my husbands 50th birthday celebrations at the hotel and invited 25 of our clsoest friends to join us. The location of the hotel is stunning and the staff made the three day celebrations an event always to be remembered by all who attended. Nothing was too much trouble for the Manager and his small dedicated team we enjoyed...

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel and would like to say how much we enjoyed it. We had the Imperial Suite which is a fantastic room with large sitting room with a wood burning stove if the weather got chilly a large bedroom and a jucuzzi bath room all this along with the views...

Nothing is compromised to give an experience of luxurious Spanish culture. Often in mid week it appears as a quiet and private villa, a retreat in grand design and with views to take your breath away. The end of the week and at weekends it is a place of celebration and relaxation for Spaniards from Malaga and becomes busier with...

We didn't stay here but went to eat one evening. The hotel was very quiet, and I think the chef had been sent home. The receptionist called him and he came back to cook just for us. The food was excellent, enhanced by the most wonderful setting. The chocolate fondant in particular was to die for. (Rooms not rated as...

I recently stayed here with a walking tour group and had a very nice experience. Highlights: pretty hike from the hotel (just turn left at bottom of the drive, then right on gravel road down the way); gorgeous views (don't forget a night walk to see the stars); peaceful country location--no traffic or light pollution; large & clean rooms; good...
