This beautiful casa rural was where we spent our last night on the Camino. Alfonso, the shy owner, was kind enough to come pick us up from town. Our large room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, facing the courtyard and the historic chapel. The beautiful grounds behind the house is an ideal place to reflect on the Camino experience. Alfonso...

Pazo Xan Xordo is very charming with a beautiful courtyard, an historic chapel, a field in the back with a nice walking path, and a kind owner. We decided to stay here on our last night of the Camino so that we could have a short walk the next day. Alfonso picked us up from town and brought us to...

Friendly staff and nice rooms. However, after walking around 20 kilometers on the Camino, it was disappointing that we could not have dinner in the hotel. Luckily the hotel staff could drive all seven of us to a nearby restaurant. Unfortunately the service in this Micheline listed restaurant was not very good and the food was not spectacular. However, the...

This home was built in 1650! Family run and owned. So full of character. The garden is an oasis. The accommodation is comfortable and quiet. The owner is such a nice man. He tries to do anything you ask. Rather than going into town for dinner the owner went and picked up pizza and then provided wine for all of...

Although they only have breakfast the very friendly and helpful owner will take and fetch you from any restaurant nearby. He also suggested a very nice one! The hotel takes you back to the previous century! but it is very nice and he even showed us their own chapel, it was the first one in Lavacolla but is for their...

Just loved this hotel, room was beautiful and bed comfortable .Alfonzo is an excellent host and nothing is to much trouble. On our last night on the Camino to stay at this little gem,was wonderful. In the afternoon we were served drinks, tapas in the beautiful courtyard, then driven down to the local hotel, for dinner, which doesn't look very inviting but the fish...

The location of this hotel is great, both in terms of the airport and in terms of the pleasant and peaceful surroundings. We weren't peregrinos so maybe had a different perspective on this hotel from other reviewers as we normally rent self-catering accommodation. We found it a friendly and good place to stay but were unfortunate in arriving during a...

The night before the final leg of the Camino we entered a peaceful oasis of beauty and hospitality. Alfonso, our host, chauffeured us to a restaurant for lunch and a supermarket in his personal vehicle. As soon as you enter the architectural gates and historic building, an aroma of vanilla soothes your spirit. The common areas and the rooms, were...

This was easily the nicest accommodation we experienced on our Camino walk. The host was very welcoming, our rooms were spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. After a welcome shower, we had drinks in the pretty front courtyard and while there is no restaurant on site, the owner drove us to a local restaurant, then came back to collect us later....
