Very pretty region of the country with beautiful mountain views. Friendly owners/staff: twin brothers. Clean, renovated facility. True hostel accommodations: no private bathroom, showers in the basement, only bunk beds in our bedroom, no curtains on the windows, i.e. the bare bones. It does have a kitchen, dining area, and free wi-fi, which was nice. What wasn't so nice: our...

This place is wonderful at a great location between Amsteg and Goeschenen at the famous Gotthard Train Route. The rooms were very nice and clean. I also enjoyed the easy of getting the reservation and payment organized as well as check-in and check-out. The hotel does not serve breakfast or dinner but there is a kitchen where one can cook....

This hostel is in a building that has been renovated by two brothers. They have done a very nice job on the renovations. They have a variety of rooms available. Prices are reasonable for Switzerland. Breakfast is not included.

All the areas were decorated with a nice style, everything was clean and the brothers running the place were really friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel next door before (CHF 15) before continuing are trip. All in...

I travelled with my parents and my 76 years old grandmother (for her was a new experience to stay in a backpacking accommodation, and she liked it and she said she felt younger :D). We took a room for six people, even we were four and it was warm, because the hosts turn on the heater some time before our...
