Nice clean Hotel ideally placed for public transport or the motorway. Hotel owner was helpful and cheerful. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was a buffet style with a good choice. Found Hotel expensive compared to other similar Hotels in the area & you are forced to go out for a meal or drink in the evening. Booked via Booking...

Booked the hotel in error on Booking.com so was shocked when we eventually found it. Very strange hotel. Manager extremely friendly and chatty (reminded my partner of Basil Fawlty in terms of personality). My mouth dropped as I walked into and around the hotel. Décor very very old and didn't seem clean, woodchip wallpaper. Didn't want to sleep in the...

We spent a night in this gem of a hotel and got a spotlessly clean room, an excellent dinner and the classic Swiss breakfast! The price (130 for the double room) was absolutely fair for a Swiss countryside hotel. The ladies who run the place know how old school hospitality goes, much more than they care about online reviews :-)...

OK to stay one night on the road, but even on booking sites you will pay too much for a rather old hotel. The neighbourhood is not as romantic as they show you on photos. Breakfast was OK but dinner was too poor and salty.

We stayed for one night in the hotel with 3 children and 2 adults. The hotel is run by a few elderly woman. The service is reasonable and what you expect from this type of hotels. The food was too greasy and too much salt was used. The major set back however was the price. The only reason we didn't...

We passed next to the hotel on our bike trip. Seems nice place in a litte vilage. We took the last room. This is a small hotel more a gusthouse and restaurant. Rooms were clean and shower great. Staff is few elderly women that run the place. They tried to bridge the language barrier and were very helpful. Restaurant was...

We stayed here for a night long with other families during our road trip, this small hotel is run by a old lady (and maybe her friends), she was very helpful and even helped us with our luggage even though we insisted not to as she was a old lady, there was a small car parking. The rooms were clean...

This clean and cozy hotel has a truly outstanding restaurant (open Wed. - Sun. when we visited in September) that is remarkable given the size of the hotel. Tucked into a dramatic steep-sided valley and just a stone's throw from a large tumbling river, it sits in the midst of a charming tiny village. The owners and staff were cheerful,...

Alarm bells did ring when we realised at breakfast we were the only guests. This was the breakfast that 8am was deemed very early (not when you are going skiing), the yoghurts were three months out of date (not kidding), the request for tea was challenged four times while another member of staff hoovered around our feet. The final morning...
