We loved our stay in this hotel. The rooms were tasteful, the staff were friendly and warm, but also professional. Breakfast was lovely, though a little overpriced. The restaurant was also good, and a lovely atmosphere siting out in the very pretty courtyard but there are several very fine restaurants in Erbalunga (see my review of Le Pirate). Apart from one or two crowded moments the main pool was not overcrowded (the second pool was pretty but very small). The gym was disappointing - insufficient machines and air-conditioning not working. Good masseuse.

We already had a good impression before arriving as emails were returned promptly for any queries we had before arrival . The hotel has good parking , and a lovely courtyard . Also two pools, one heated , nice loungers , a hot tub , spa (didn’t use it) and an orangerie ( group of orange trees ). Check in was prompt , and perfect English spoken , friendly ! Our room was clean and had a good size balcony with a table and chairs , overlooking the mountains and smaller , unheated pool . Higher level rooms likely have ocean views . Beautiful plants and trees on the property , immaculately kept . Room Coffee was instant , a small note to the owners maybe consider a nespresso like in the other 5 Corsican hotels we stayed in ? Minor point . Location is excellent , right in Brando , close to the sea too , all easily walkable . Good value for the money , and an astounding amount of amenities for a intimate hotel . We did have dinner here and loved it , FYI . Courtyard is magical at night . Will try to do a separate review of the restaurant . We would stay again for sure . …

Lovely hotel - stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect amount of time. The village is very pretty and you can walk down to the seafront in about 2 minutes and the view is stunning. Lovely to sit and relax! Hotel pools very clean and quiet, not too many people around especially in the mornings. Breakfast expensive but very nice and this seems the case with all Corsican hotels. We had dinner at the hotel one evening which has a really lovely setting and good food. Beds are very comfortable we slept well every night. Would be nice if the hotel could leave some walking trail suggestions in English perhaps. Would recommend this hotel.

Perfect location, excellent service, great pool and outdoor spaces. would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Castel Brando. Beautiful building set in fabulous gardens. Staff excellent. Restaurant very good and service generally excelllent.
