We were walking the Camino and decided on a bit more comfort. This is the first time we stayed in a Case Rural but if they're all like this it won't be our last. Booked through trip advisor and met by their representative within 20 minutes. Excellent

Great location for going into San Sebastian and not having to take the car. Train Station only a few minutes walk away and so easy to sort. Nice bars in Orio itself and people very friendly. Casa Rural Mailan is more of a B&B than a hotel. There is lady who helps in the morning who speaks excellent english and...

The house was only 3 mins from the rail station which made day trips out easy using the excellent Eskutren service (25 mins to Donostia, 5mins to Zarautz). Zarautz is also an easy hours walk. The owners were most welcoming and our large spacious room with balcony made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast at 5 euro was very good...

We stayed here four nights and it was a wonderful location to take day trips from to San Sebastian, and other surrounding coastal towns. Even though the innkeeper spoke no English, we were able to communicate and her helper at breakfast time spoke good English. We were originally given a room on the 3rd level but the next morning were...

Good spot for an overnight stay. Spacious and tastefully decorated, no english spoken but amazingly you get by quite well. Was as part of a Camino stop over we happened to be in the area. Continental breakfast was good, people were friendly, it does what it says on the tin.

I’ll admit when we first got to Casa Rural Mailan in June this year, we were concerned at our lack of ability to speak to the local language, we thought we had learned enough but this was clearly not the case… Do not let this put you off visiting Casa Rural Mailan it’s not a huge barrier. It is a...

I spent 6 nights here at Casa rural Mailan and had a really great time. The house itself is very nice, with beautifull garden. Equipped with massive wood furniture, with attention to details-old historical photos and paintings. Very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfest is simple but very tasty , served in nice space.Very close to train station. Town Orio is small with...

We accidently booked to go to San Sebastian during the film festival- which meant accomodation was mostly booked up and very expensive. This guesthouse is a 15min, easy drive from San Sebastian (or a 20 min train journey- and the station is a 2 minute walk). Despite not speaking english, the lady who welcomed us tried her best to be...

Mailan is a bed & breakfast kind of small hotel accommodation in town of Orio, some 10 km west from Donostia. Just 150 m from the front door there is Orio train station from which you can reach Donostia in about 20 min, connection twice during working hours. It is easy to approach by car and taxi form Donostia was...

This B&B is located just a 20 minute train ride from San Sebastian in the beautiful little town of Orio. The house is surrounded by a beautifully manicured garden, antique furniture and tasteful art hanging on the walls. Our host was extremely helpful. We went to Basque Country for San Sebastian but fell in love with the little town of...
