Privately owned, the château is situated close to Boulogne and therefore the eurotunnel. We have stayed here many times and ever been disappointed. The old building has been sympathetically renovated with some 40 rooms and a fantastic restaurant. The rooms are decorated in a modern way with excellent facilities and Wifi. And the restaurant is just superb. Using fresh local...

As the Ferme du Vert was fully booked when we stopped to buy their cheese, Madame there rang her colleagues at this hotel nearby. The grand entrance hides a large garden behind with ample parking and a tennis court. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was in an annexe to the main building, along a covered...

On this trip our first choice over -nighter close, to Calais, was not available. We had stayed at the Chateau des Tuilleries previously and, whilst that stay was Ok, it was not memorable, so we were a bit ambivalent this time...... Really pleased to say that all aspects of our stay were great. Firstly - the food in the lovely...

The family continue to provide excellent service and food - it just gets better and is ideal for a short break or a stop over en route to another destination. Nothing is too much trouble and we will definitely be returning for a fourth visit

This is a comfortable stopping-off hotel with a good restaurant and very helpful & friendly staff. My room was small and functional, with a well-equipped but small shower room without outside ventilation, so a musty smell. But a good shower and a comfortable bed made for a good stay. In the restaurant, the “daily menu” was excellent value and I’d...

The old management are back and Tourelles is back to it's very high standard. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotless, the food is amazing and the staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly. Simply, Tourelles can't be beaten.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 twin daughters aged 12) ate here one evening. The house is very grand and well furnished and the staff were extremely welcoming. Our meals were good - maybe not up to the standard of some of the best restaurants in Boulogne - but very pleasant and nicely presented. We will return.

We used to stay here as a treat before catching the ferry home, both as a family and a couple. Then a few years back we had a disastrous experience with the food, and there seemed to be a change of management. Anyway having read the recent reviews we tried again and are we glad we did. The welcome, the...

Very, very good from start to finish. Lovely friendly staff - every one of them - particularly the owner/manager (?) who worked incredibly hard to make sure our stay was as pleasing as possible making sure all our needs were met. Food was very good - we ate the "daily menu" each evening and was well cooked and excellent value...

Whenever we are looking for somewhere to eat in the Pas de Calais, we look at each other, shrug, and and say 'Le Wast'.It's a little gem snuggled out of the way in a turning off the main Boulogne to St Omer road. The food is traditional and of a consistently high standard, backed up by a friendly and encouraging...
