Arrived at hotel at 5pm. Paid bill in good faith that the rooms would be clean airy and well presented as shown in photos. Turned out room was not big enough to swing a cat and had a very claustrophobic feeling. Floors were painted orange..!!!!! WTF?...bed like a slab of concrete and the cheapest pillows money could buy.If I had inspected room first we would have stayed elsewhere. Hotel is situated in horrible industrial estate area and is one of the cheapest constructions of buildings I have seen. Room also was stuffy with absolutely nothing in it not even a $10 kettle ,long life milk and a tea bag. Restaurant is only open B.fast so you cant even have a cup of tea after a long drive. The breakfast, OMG just sooo basic, not even a plate to put the stale pastries that was offered. When asking for a plate I was shown a saucer. Everything had always run out ,the milk, bread, fruit yogurt, juice and water. Spent the entire breakfast asking for things to be replenished. The poor guy behind the front desk was obviously worked to death as he was there of an evening and then back in the AM with very little break. He was tired and forgetful. Only half a roll of toilet paper in room on arrival as well and skimpy cheap towels that were useless. On having a nice day out at La Rochelle it was totally depressing to return to what felt like a prison cell DONT STAY HERE!! On further discovery of the area you could stay in a hotel on the water at Chatilllion for 4 euros more..Basically disgusted!

We were there in July and there were bugs in my friend's room and bed. No apologies, they gave them another room. My friend was bitten at multiple places. They say they come from outside because there is a field with hay. But they open the windows when they clean up in the morning!!!

Nice à clean. Very small but for the price you can't expect a loft. Small bathroom but clean and clean sheets and towels. Very close to la rochelle so good option if your not willing to pay la rochelle hotel prices. Breakfast only sweet no ham or cheese etc... but again for 5euros orange juice, bread honey etc... is also fine and you can have as much as you want.

we had an early flight and were about 2 hrs away by car so decided last minute to book here and drive up night before. Receptionist was lovely and helpful, Location to three restuarants - chinese french or texas grill within 5 mins (but by car) and a cheap petrol station - everything you need just before returning a hire car. And for the price we paid, cannot be faulted
