We have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the last few years. This ranks at the bottom of the list. The positives: friendly staff (young man and I guess his wife/girlfriend), clean room though dated (probably hasn’t been updated since the 1980’s), excellent WiFi, good sized shower stall, secure bicycle storage, walking distance to restaurants, stores and train station, comfortable bed, clean linens. The negatives: poor water pressure in shower ( really bad-our first time in 6 weeks of European hotels), poor room lighting, no full time reception staff or owner though he is available by telephone, really small sized room for two people, overpriced at 84 Euros for one night. The owners need to update the rooms or get out of the business. OK if you’re desperate for a place to stay. Bottom line- We would not stay here again. Try the hotel across the street called Mattielo’s.

Stayed here two nights in a three bed room, very large, clean and comfortable. Location is awesome as it is right at the beginning of the Christmas Market! Parking is great as they have reserve spots for guests. Bar/dining room here is very expensive which is why it only got a 4 star rating.

This hotel, in the small German town of MEngen, has all you need for a short break. The rooms are large, warm, well appointed and clean. There are some English channels on the TVs and there is free WiFi. The breakfasts, continental with fresh rolls, eggs, meat an cheese were beautifully presented, and the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. We ate there in the evening twice and were not disappointed. especially recommended is the hirsch(venison) steak. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on business. This family run hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included and had a nice selection. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was excellent.
