This park is a combination of rentals. There are many trailers that are full timers. Its rather dusty and a bit dirty. Some sites have a fire pit while others don’t which ticked me off. They should make sure all sites have one! The picnic tables are dirty old and rotting. There is a water hole they call a lake which I wouldn’t stick a toe in but the kids love it. Very noisy so make sure you don’t pick a site near it!! The wifi is terrible so don’t count on that. The showers and bathroom is quite clean but you have to pay for a shower and the lighting is poor. It’s an okay park for a couple of nights. If you have kids, they’ll certainly have fun, the park is full of them with lots to do. Adults, not so much.

We stayed at Qualicum Bay resort in the RV campground in February, and again in March. Both times we took the extra long drive through sites. Our first pull in wasn't too great, as the site was very wet and spongy (90 I think), but staff was very good about letting us move to another open site of our choice. Nice location, close to many of the things we love best on the island. Power was iffy, as our RV seemed to blow the breaker regularly (not a regular occurrence for us elsewhere). Nice rec center. Laundry on site. Coin-operated shower caught us by surprise the first time! Wifi was good in the recreation area, but not too great further back. Nice place to go for those that enjoy quadding! Staff was always great when needed.

The room was totally NOT what I had expected. We were told that the rooms had been updated, and that may have been true but was very poorly done. I found a previous persons bag of garbage inside a dresser drawer. There was a coffee maker in the room, but they only offered instant coffee and we had to ask for it. The property itself is very sketchy, and is very over priced for what is offered.

Place has gone down hill..Owners going from campsite to campsite at 8:00pm telling everyone to be quite. Running out of toilet paper..and no garbage pick up. No place for families anymore just old retirement folk. DO NOT RECOMMEND . Going for 14 plus years for family get together and was treated like crap..never again

Run down facility with very little if any monies being put into the property. Absolutely no customer service skills displayed by the limited staff. Made two minor requests during our week long stay and they were unable and unwilling to help. Swimming area is absolutely disgusting, leeches among other mystery items floating around and children’s bathing suites covered in algae after spending a short period of time in the water.
