The unique and commanding views across the farming countryside from the terrace, dining room and bedrooms are beautiful and also the main attraction. When these are combined with the well signed and maintained woodland walks surrounding the Kemmelberg and other local hills it makes for an almost idyllic break. The food is of high quality and the service and friendliness...

I can't say more than this hotel is fabulous, specially the valley view rooms. The only minor comments I would make are that most of the beds are "Austrian twins" so if you're feeling amorous and are large as I am please make sure you get a proper double bed. Nevertheless this is my joint favouite of all the hotels...

Surrounded by trees and nice view over the valley. Friendly and helpful staff. Good starting point for walking or mountainbike trips right from the hotel. The rooms are nice, only the bathroom could be a bit more spatious.

Do not hesitate, I arrived after a dreadful journey in foul weather. The welcome was really great as was the room, warm and just right. Dinner was first rate as the weather battered outside, hot and accurately cooked cuisine, comprehensive wine list at most reasonable prices. All in all a memorable visit which will be repeated. Thank you. Dr John...

perhaps not the easiest place to find, a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that is what makes this place special. plenty of nature to discover in the neighborhood. and what a view you get in the bar and the restaurant !!!! The renovated rooms are rather small, and the bathroom even smaller. But everything is there. And you...

We stayed three days at the Hostellerie Kemmelberg and spent a perfect week-end, combining hiking with history (the surroundings exude World War I). The Hostellerie combines tastefully furnished rooms with a homy atmosphere and pure gastronomy. The staff is very helpful and speaks different languages. Just perfect.
