Was very good. Had a veggie burger and dumplings, wine and beer. Lutz was very friendly and the Atmosphere was great, sitting on the terrace next to the river. Was one of the best meals we had in laos.

We spent 10 days in this guesthouse and we immediately fell in love with this place, first of all thanks to the kindness of the family who run the guesthouse. Starting from the delicious food till the accommodation in the spectacular river view bungalow! Everything was just amazing! thanks for everything, we will be coming back soon (probably in a...

Great atmosphere, super tasty food, exceptional service. This is a gem on Don Det. Very quiet place, the next guest house is a walk away , hence you have your privacy here. We loved it here, stayed 6 nights and ate here every day.

A couple of kilometres south of the north end of Don Det Island but worth the walk to experience a beautifully laid out restaurant with local and German specialities. Bring a torch for the walk home to dodge what the buffaloes may have left behind on the track.

Mama Leuah Guesthouse is probably the best location to stay on Don Det. The bungalows are quite basic, but totally clean and equipped with a cozy bed for napping. The view from the hammocks on the Mekong is just amazing and relaxing. The food at the restaurant is very delicious and the best we got in Lao. The host Lutz...

This guesthouse (and also the restaurant!) is definitely the best choice on whole Don Det. The bungalows are directly on the waterfront of the Mekong so that you can see the sunrise over the river from one of the hammocks on your veranda. The rooms are very clean and all basic furniture is there, including a good mosquito net. The...

Nice place run by a Lao-German couple and their family. During our stay we felt always welcome due to Lutz and his family. Our wooden bungalow had a big terrasse with two comfy hammocks and a beautiful view on the mekong and some small islands. The restaurant offers both western and lao food... really delicious!!

Also the bathroom was simple and clean. We were a group of 3 guys and had enough space. During the day we were hangin around in...
