We stayed at Mama Leuah's for 3 nights in September. We've never felt so welcome at a guesthouse and Lutz, who runs the place with his wife and mother in law, makes every effort to make you comfortable. He gave us a lot of advice for travelling around the islands and for our onward journey. The bungalows are beautiful and...

When we arrived at mama leuah it was a bit like coming home. Everything was clean and the food (local and western - you should try the cordon bleu) was the best we got in 1 month travelling across laos. Lutz, who is running everything, is such a nice guy. Felt like talking with an old friend..

By far the best place we stayed. The guest house is run by a German man and his Wife (Mr.Luts and Mrs.Peng) The menu is impressive and mama Leuah special Schnitzel is highly recommended and the Swiss Rosti for breakfast. Mr.Luts makes this special drinks - Lao Lao and will bring a shot to you when you dine there!

On arrival in the guesthouse we were welcomed and greeted in a very nice way by Pheng and her husband Lutz. The room was simple but clean and absolutely fine. It was clean, a comfortable bed and a fan. Bathroom with western style toilet, sink, mirror and a shower (cold water, but that’s fine for us as well). Very nice...
