Semi clean rooms, nice and helpfull staff. Reasonably priced and fits well to islands standards. Maybe positioning of some bungalows are not optimal but you can compensate it by watching sunset from restaurant. Good restaurant with many options and reasonable prices.

I didn't stay here but came a couple of times for lunch or dinner (and the sunset). Food was very good (fruit shakes as well) and the family that runs the place is so friendly! A really nice place to hang out and chill if you're tired of loud music and people;)

We booked a room in advance (via Booking.com) and arrived in the early evening on Don Det really tired after 15 hours of traveling. The owner greeted us and gave us an awkward laugh and said she had no rooms available but that we could stay in her sister’s place “just two minutes down the path”. We were annoyed but...

You have to realise when going to Don Det that you are not going to be staying in an 'amazing' place. This is one of the better ones, but do know that all the bungalows on this island are essentially a bed with a fan above it on the ceiling. This place was better because it had a private bathroom...

Among all the guest houses on Don Det, Sengthavan Guesthouse stands out. It is nice and clean and they have the best food on the island. The breakfast has what you want and the menu is a little bit depending on what fish or other dishes are available. And it is really tasty. On weekends the young daughter of the...

Relative to the other places on the island, it was very clean. We had the luxury of an ensuite and there was a speedy laundry service, a lovely view and, most importantly, two hammocks on the front porch. All of the accommodation on the island is fairly basic so you have to put up with brown shower water, no wifi...

This place is well looked after with the cleanest bungalows we saw on our walk to find accommodation. Amazingly good value. This family is so friendly. There restaurant has wifi and we had breakfast here everyday. Lovely sunset views. I would really recommend you walk a little further away from the touts when you get off the boat it's well...

Beautiful little guest house with great staff! Food at the restaurant was amazing as well! Loved that they didn't allow or sell and of the "happy" items to maintain a family friendly atmosphere for their children to grow up in. Only issue was the water in the shower changing between brown and clear every so often but that's what happens...
