Arrived here on Valentines day for a 2 day break with my wife and small dog. Through no fault of the hotel ( agency fault ), they had no booking for us. Thankfully Marius and Ian quickly resolved matters and found us a room . Had a lovely stay with excellent service from all concerned. Beautiful little Valentines surprises when...

Another visit to one of the finest hotels in Scotland for Valentine's Day. Drinks in lounge beside fireplace before heading through to one of the dining rooms for a five course meal. Food exceptional. Service excellent .A big thank you to Neil and all his staff. Special mention to head chef Ethan.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner bed and breakfast recently at this traditional 200 year old country house hotel. Excellent dinner with unusual twists to the courses using quality local produce and home made breads and after dinner fudge. Friendly helpful staff enhanced our stay. Beautiful immaculately maintained grounds.

The best dinner I have had in a U.K hotel well done chef- brilliantly balanced dishes and fantastic value. 10/10 Staff friendly and helpful, instantly a relaxing place, nice classy traditional room. Nice rural setting and very comfortable, just a short hop from Banchory or Aberdeen

What a lovely evening we had! The Deeside Writers Christmas meal was fantastic - delicious food, attentive staff and such comfortable and welcoming surroundings. From the pre-dinner drinks in the lounge, to the fancy party hats, table toys (much hilarity) and crackers, and our very own private dining room, it was a great treat which we all hugely enjoyed. We...

Took my son here for a belated birthday lunch, with his grandma. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The rib roast beef was absolutely delicious. Can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert

Just had our wedding at Raemoir House. Absolutely tremendous. Extremely helpful staff, fantastic service, and an amazing meal. Everyone commented on what a great venue it was, and how well the separate rooms worked, allowing people to mingle and chat away from the band and dance floor, yet still feel part of the proceedings. Special mentions to Ian, and Marius...

Just returned from afternoon tea at Raemoir House Hotel with my wife and parents, the service from the staff and array of selection of treats were fabulous. A wonderful time in great surroundings in front of a roaring fire. A special thanks too to the owner for honouring a very long overdue Xmas voucher.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The 4 star VisitScotland Raemoir is one of Scotland's few genuine Country House Hotels. Set in 11 acres of completely secluded gardens, parkland and wood it has 18 individually appointed ensuite bedrooms, is privately owned and run, is less than 20 minutes from Aberdeen and its international airport and station and provides that personal service that is becoming harder and harder to find. Raemoir is perfectly positioned for Royal Deeside, the Cairngorm National Park and the world famous Whisky, Castle and Golf Trails including Balgownie, Murcar, Trump International and Deeside all of which are within easy reach. Warm, welcoming, discrete and indulgent, with its string of awards as testament to the service provided, it is a fabulous venue catering for relaxed dining, private parties, conference facilites, weddings and exclusive use. Our private helipad ensures we are something entirely different from the norm but the world beyond the gates is never far away... ... more   less
