Had lunch to day at Colyton pub. I realise that it is a Senior meal and do not expect 5 star for the cost, but do expect that the food is edible. I had the so called "Cottage beef pie". After lifting the pastry, found three small pieces of meat (I think it was meat) in this very glue gravy...

Ok, so let me begin with check in. Even though there is a dedicated check-in office, it would be desirable to have someone manning the office during business hours. Now the room: it is quite small considering there's a queen bed in it. There was only one extra pillow available instead of 2. Air-con is lovely but the TV could...

Arrived late (1730) to check in at the reception and was mildly surprised to find bikini clad waitresses in the bar when I went to enquire there, from a place that advertises as a child friendly place. The room decor was very tired. There were non functioning lights, paint had seen much better days, bed was lumpy, carpet was very...

Good for 'workers' and 'the boys' as a place to sleep - quiet and pub attached - but otherwise go elsewhere. Food OK at pub and reasonably priced. Motel rooms shabby, poor housekeeping and basic. Try opening/ closing the shower door with the 'bathroom' door closed! Lyn

Came here for dinner the other day and we were both pretty happy with our meals. Stayed for a couple games of pool before having a few drinks in the large sports bar. The regular customers seemed pretty nice and we walked away having had a good night.
