We stayed one night for a wedding at another spot. Pros: Check-in was efficient, office staff were welcoming. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the curtains darkened the room well. The room was clean but certainly needed some touch ups. Cons: The outside wood around the windows was rotting and the whole front needed painting. The room had a very "musty" smell, the AC was very loud and was set at 22 for the night..it shut on and off about every hour..sounding like a 747 jet. The Keurig coffee maker had an old used pod in it, no creamer for the coffee. The shower was the size of a small closet and the curtain was about a foot too long so you stepped on it while trying to shower, with no water pressure and water switching to cold intermittently. The cost of our room ($400+) certainly was absolutely ludicrous and we were very disappointed. We went to the on-site restaurant for a bite to eat. The options were terrible and we ended up having 2 small (1 cup) of soup, very tasty, but very expensive at $9 each, no crackers or bread to go with it. The Server was very nice and efficient.

Oof. Considering how much they charge per night there should be zero excuse for these tired and dated rooms. Let me start by saying I have worked in hotels for years and used to be a front office manager so I am no Karen. I know what I’m talking about. I paid $526 + $250 (refundable pre authorization) for a weekend in a run down motel room. For the love of god read the reviews before you book. 161 people aren’t lying to you. I have no doubt that this place USED to be beautiful but I would be shocked if it survives another year. I feel terrible for the front desk staff because I am certain they have to listen to the same complaints every single day.
We were here for a wedding so luckily we didn’t spend much time in the room. I will say that our friends in 701 had a gorgeous two story place overlooking the beach so maybe all of that money is going into fixing these types of lodgings instead because it certainly isn’t going to the basic rooms. We stayed in 111 and it was TERRIBLE value for money. The heater and hairdryer didn’t work, the carpets were stained, the wallpaper was peeling, there were cobwebs and dead insects, the shower screeched like a kettle once it got going (I was genuinely concerned I was about to be scalded after reading the review by the woman who was electrocuted) you didn’t get more than a couple minutes of hot water and the wifi barely worked (they pre blamed this on poor location and bad weather in our welcome letter) The furniture and decor was from the 80’s because I imagine that was the last time this room was refurbished. The only positives were the new tv and the bed was very comfy. There was also a coffee maker, microwave and fridge which is nice, especially when you’re paying $15+/drink at their bar. Yup, 1 large glass of rose wine and 1 bottle of Heineken cost me $33.75. God bless those drink tickets.
I mentioned all of the room issues to the front desk on check out but no compensation was offered. Just the usual “I’ll let maintenance/housekeeping know”. Let me save you the trouble darlin’ - they know. Just like your General Manager/Owner have known for months if not years.
The front desk staff were very friendly, the wedding venue was beautiful and the food was lovely so everybody including the bride and groom had a fantastic day but had this been just a regular couples getaway I would be screaming louder than 111’s shower for a partial refund at the very least. They don’t even include breakfast in their extortionate rates (additional $18/person). This place is in desperate need of a makeover and until that happens they have absolutely no right to be charging what they do. At best, it’s worth $60/night. Look elsewhere or I guarantee you’ll be disappointed. It is truly such a shame because the grounds are beautiful and it has so much potential to be much, MUCH better than what they’ve let it become.

Booked via choice for 201$ per night for 4 nights.
Checked in at 4PM and our room was ready. The copound is a mix of cabins, motels, and villas (one of which where we stayed).
We were 3 in a 2 level unit, one bedroom on first level with kitchenette, fireplace and sofa bed and there was a second level loft with a double bed. The decor was old and tired, the sofa bed unconfartable ( they did provide an extra cot to compensate which did the job). The room was a tad dirty when we arrived. I need to comment on room service (or lack thereof) given the 2nd day, we only got refresh of towels (and 2 sets instead of 3), and no service on 2 other days...i did confirm they do daily service but was told the maids will not service a room if there is someone in there (even if you verbally tell them to come???)
I did not see the pool. but we were satisfied with the beach and bay which my sister and her friend spent most of their morning. There is a restaurant on premise which we did not use but it seemed not very busy at lunch or dinner.
Location is great , within 5 min drive (or 10 min bike ride ) to entrance of the Sandbank Provincial park, as well as across the road from a microbrewery. Only reason i gave this place 3 stars....
Passable (if you get service)....

My husband and I stayed at the Isaiah Tubbs resort October 4th weekend. Our room was located in the "Inn". The first thing I noticed was an iron burn on the carpet, paint scrapes on the trim with paint flakes on the carpet. The room is in desperate need of some TLC and some new furnishings. We had dinner at the restaurant on site on Friday evening, the menu had a choice of 3 entrees, my gnocchi was swimming in pesto and overpriced. The tables in the pub area are in terrible shape and need to be replaced .

The water is not drinkable. I was not told when I booked or when I checked in. There was a sign over the sink. The bathroom has mildew stains, grout is not clean. The TV has only boring cable. No ability to log into Netflix or Disney. No Bluetooth or operating hdmi cable. The cable doesn't work well. Slow wifi. Ice is $4 per bag, there are no ice machines, not that you could use ice from resort water source. Our room has a door in the floor over a staircase and a ladder to a useless empty loft. There is only one pillow on the bed. The restaurant has limited service, not open Mon or Tuesday. This is not a full service resort. All the buildings are rundown, shabby and tired feeling. The "beach" is rocky, so no barefoot in the sand. Do not stay here. Overpriced. I will never come back. Very disappointing.

This is the first hotel room I've ever written. We have stayed here previously but for the price of $300 a night, you would expect them to at least have some WIFI service. We were told to park at the main office and connect to the cell phone tower and then walk to our room to stay connected. Lol. As soon as you walk 2 feet away you lose service.

Beautiful property, but the buildings are run down and linens need a refurbish. Most importantly, their well was polluted, so there were signs from the local health authority telling us not to drink the water. "Warning: High Nitrate/Nitrite levels. Drinking water test results from Isaish Tubbs... exceeds the provincial standard of 10mg/l." But there were no plastic water bottles in the room, and at the sign in desk, we had to purchase water. Management is not on the ball.

I really wish that I had read the reviews before I booked two rooms in this hotel. Stayed in room 213 and 113 of the Inn. The rooms were dated, no cable, no tv commander in one of the rooms and the internet did not work. The toilet paper that was in the bathroom was a half used roll that we were told had had many sheets removed so it could be used again. When I asked was this the policy I was told they didn't have any way of using half rolls left over so they just left them in the bathroom. Besides the mildew, the lack of paint, care of the pool (if it is not in service at least cover it so the mildew does not show) my greater concern was lack of Covid-19 Protocols. No sanitizer in the hall on the way upstairs where you had to use the handrail and a real fear that my room had not been cleaned properly. No questions asked when we arrived about possible exposure and no temperature checks. The whole property was a mess. The maintenance barn beside our rooms was not even closed up and kids could have been really hurt. Dinner was mediocre at best but at least the dining room looked a little better. It seemed that that Inn part of the hotel were stayed should have been closed down if repairs could not be maintained but the whole property looked dirty and unkempt. The balconies did not even look safe to walk on. Because the dining room was closed for breakfast, we ended up at the Waring House in Picton. While not on the water the Waring house is in pristine condition and realized how we had been ripped off as the rooms are the same price or cheaper. We found out that Isisah Tubbs has been on the decline for several years. For the sake of the reputation of the whole county this resort should be shut down for safety, sanitation and many other reasons.

It was ok. Nice place. Registration area smelled musty. Room was nice with seating area and fridge and outdoor picnic table. Restaurant on site. Waiter wore sunglasses and didn't really have a clue with menu. Ordered a burger asked for medium was told not an option and it came dry and burnt. Pricey for time of year. No one there but 2 other cars

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this place. First I would like to state that I am not a person who complains about everything. I have written 5 star reviews Nov various travel sites.
Unfortunately this will not be one of them. With tax, we paid $1,044 for 3 nights because my husband wanted to stay on the water. We could not see the lake from our room. As for the accommodations, first we were given a room with a bed and a sink and toilet (no shower) on the ground floor. The full bathroom and another bed in a room with a slanted roof on both sides which was quite low to the head of the head of the bed so that if one wasn’t careful getting up, one would hit one’s head. The stairs were narrow and steep and I walk with a cane due to hip problems.
The beds were also very soft, advertised as queen but actually double, and the room was rather run down and with a broken Venetian blind on the door and poorly measured curtains so the room would not get very dark at night.
The second room was on the ground floor, what the receptionist told us had king sized bed, but was a double, and was just as soft as in the first room. There was a jacuzzi in the room and the bathroom was small with old fixtures and a corner shower with a not too good shower (the shower head was blocked, so not a lot of water coming out of it. The doors were hard to open an shut as they are swollen and stick on the side as well as on the floor. Our room also had a sofa bed, on which I had to sleep as we are used to a king sized bed at home. There was no tool cleaning or bed making and when I asked I was told we could have that if we asked.
They are working on the outside, so all the paint chips and dirt were piled up by the front door of the building.
For me, we did not get value for our money at all. The only saving grace was the food, which I rate as very good, no higher. The whole part of the property where the older buildings is rundown and needs a lot of work for me to agree to call this a resort. It’s a rundown hotel, where the wifi/internet do not work with not the most friendly staff except in the restaurant.
I’ll say like other reviews, read the reviews carefully before you book.
