Very good and service was good. Everything about this place is beautiful I love it and hopefully will be back again. There a beautiful place were you can walk through if you don’t want to sit all day in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff especially the lovely waiter who would serve us in the evening. After our first night eating in the restaurant he would remember the wine my husband drank and me wanting natural water. Such a lovely man. Hotel was situated in lovely woodlands out of the town area. So easy to get about too, bus stop right outside the hotel and straight to the station. Food excellent too and so beautifully presented. All brilliant.

This rating relates to the restaurant. While the building is mostly stuck in the 1980s parts of the restaurant have been upgraded to a more modern style. The South-facing deck is sunny. There is forest all around. The food was very good, mostly based on typical German dishes, done at a high level. Some of the dishes were very creative. Recommended.

You need a car to get here but it's worth it. The restaurant (we didn't stay at the hotel) is located in woodland outside Geisenheim. It is a very peaceful area. You can sit outside and enjoy the countryside - the restaurant has a terrace and a winter garden in case it rains. The restaurant is big so usually it is not difficult to get a table. The menu is relatively compact but there is something for everyone and the quality of the food was excellent on the occasions when we have visited. Service is also good in our experience. Unfortunately the card machine had broken down when we were last here. They could have told us before the meal but at least there was the option of paying the bill by EFT afterwards. As it was, we were able to scrape enough cash together but nonetheless it was nice to be trusted. By the way, it is one of the few places far and wide where they will serve you a beer (this is a wine area and some establishments are a bit snooty about beer!)

It is a very nice little hotel, in the middle of a forest, giving you peace and tranquility. Although for the region and type of hotel prices are above average. If there is availability in the village itself, I think it would be a better option. there are cheaper things with equal quality. Now, if what you want is a quiet nice location this place is great, but it's a bit further away from the village (approx 15EUR taxi away), which is not so convenient if you intend to do some wine tasting. Last but definitely not least nowadays; good free wifi.
