A truly unforgettable weekend in the serene mountain lodge. From the soothing sound of the river flowing outside our cabin, to the therapeutic hours in the jacuzzi and the cozy nights inside by the fire, everything was perfect. Truly reconnected with each other after an extremely busy year. Can't wait to come back!

An absolute beautiful and breath-taking place! We stayed in the Brunia cabin for 2 nights and it was pure bliss. Such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We LOVED every moment including the wood-fired hot tub. We could sit in it while it was raining as well so the season you... More

The perfect venue for that special, secret romantic getaway. However need to book well in advance. The wood fired hot tub is great and one just can't get enough of relaxing in the hot water with a glass of bubbly, admiring the view. Cottages quaint but very comfortable

My Wife spoiled me by taking me here for my Birthday. Two nights of absolute peaceful relaxation. I had the best time keeping the three important fires going. One for the warmth inside the rustic, but well equipped Cabin. One fire for the braai and to warm in the balcony area and a third fire to keep the jacuzzi warm.... More

We stayed at KolKol in the Bugsy cabin for two nights. Of course I booked this last year August as this establishment strangely enough is fully booked for months in advance. I am a little perplexed about that, but I must admit it was a lovely breakaway. My favourite was the fireplace (ample free wood provided which was amazing) which... More

I was really hesitant in writing this review cause i kind of want to keep a secret. Thats how good it is! :) Beautiful cottages and surroundings. Pack well as there are almost no restaurants or shops around.

After a previous, glorious visit to Kolkol, in which we stayed in Bugsy, our expectations were high and we decided to book in for my 40th birthday on the weekend of February 6. Although we were told Bugsy was not available, we were told the other cottage, which was on the end, was just as.nice. it was the same price... More

This is the ultimate hide-away, home away from home! When I entered our cabin, Bugsy, I was in awe! It is well equipped, it is as if they were in my head! Everything that I would have liked to have with me for the weekend, well, it was there! Love the stylish touch. The view, the stoep, the braai, the... More

We stayed in Kol Kol for a couple of nights as a mini moon after hearing some great things about it from our Saffa friends and wow it did not disappoint! We fell in love with the place from the moment we walked in, this is a rustic paradise with a view that will take your breath away! The little... More

What a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Sitting in the warm hot tub looking at the moon and the stars or gazing across a beautiful valley. What could be better? The cabin was clean well appointed and laid out. I can highly recommend Kol Kol. We stayed in Pincushion which was great.
